Determination and a strong will are both things that we all admire. So when we make decisions, we decide that we will stick to that, no matter what happens. After all, that shows just how strong of a will you have. And if you give up halfway, it looks like you never really cared that much or thought it through.
But is that really true?
If you make a decision that you later regret, you cannot go back and change your mind. But I think the greater success is realizing that you didn't make the right choice and then trying to go another direction. This isn't lack of motivation or perseverance. They weren't wasted feelings or time either. These experiences help you to build character and reflect on how you can succeed when you find other dreams.
