once we got back to livs we decided to play a game of cards to calm us down before noel comes back.
"i'm going to go for a walk"i smiled at them leaving my seat after we played the game of cards.
"i'll come with"mase said putting his coat on.
when we were walking at the start it was quiet until mase made conversation.
"i don't think i ever asked you on how you find acting"he asked.
"honestly mase it was like i found my future. i can't wait for you all to see it"i told him remembering how fun i found it.
"i'm sure i'll love it"he said then making another awkward silence as we walked to the swings.
"are we ok?"i looked at him.
"what do you mean"he looked confused.
"i don't know. it feels weird i haven't heard from you ever since i left. why did you never contact"i wondered feeling nervous.
"i'll be honest. i didn't want to hear your voice. it was bad enough i saw how happy you was on social media. if i heard you those feelings would of never went away"he paused "they never did"he mumbled thinking i didn't hear him even though i did.
"i understand. did you ever find anyone when i left" i asked as he shook his head.
"no one compares to you"he smiled weakly at me.
as he said this i was left in a little shock. i don't know what to say. how to act even.
"that can't be true"i laughed slightly easing the tension.
"why can't it"he gave me another confused look.
"your mason mount for god sake. everyone loves you. girls drool over you and guys want to be you. your trying to tell me you didn't want not one of them"i blurted not wanting to believe him.
"no body makes me feel the way you make me feel.i wasn't lying when i told you i'd spend my life loving you" he said once again leaving me in shock. before i could say anything rain started pouring down. "come on let's get some shelter"he continued grabbing my hand and running under a tree.
i looked at the both of us and started laughing.
"what"he asked laughing back slightly.
"do you realise how much of a state we look right now"i continued laughing.
"shut up you still look beautiful"he told me wrapping the pieces of hair in my face behind my ear. i couldn't deny of how happy this made me feel but then i remembered jacob so i turned away.
"let's go back they will be wondering where we are" i said beginning to walk away until i felt him cling onto my arm pulling me back.
"did i do something?"he looked at me in the eyes with concern.
"no of course not"i tried to make him believe me but he shook his head waiting for me to tell him the truth "you giving me a compliment brings me back to when we were together and i can't be thinking about that i have a boyfriend"
"friends can't pay other friends compliments now"he asked kind of sternly.
"not when your telling me how you think no one compares to me. imagine how you would feel if a boy was telling your girlfriend that"i explained to him as he let go of me. i continued walking until i realised he wasn't following me. "are you coming" i continued.
"why are you giving up on us so easily?"he snapped back.
"mason there is no us anymore"i tried telling him as he walked towards me and cupped my cheeks making me look away.
"i will stop saying there's an us when you look me in the eyes and tell me you feel nothing for me"he said making me look at him again. i went to speak but i couldn't. i didn't know what to say. "exactly what im saying gi. i don't care how long i have to wait but i'll wait for you"he continued before kissing my forehead and walking ahead back to dec n livs.
he left me speechless. i don't know how to feel right now. i watched as he walked ahead.
"mason"i shouted catching his attention as he turned to look back at me.our eyes locked together.
emotions took over me right now. i didn't get a chance to comprehend anything as within seconds i was running over to him connecting our lips together. rain was still poring down but i didn't care. he kissed back pretty quickly.
it had been around two minutes before i pulled away. i kept my eyes closed not wanting to face what i had just done.
"fuck"was all i could say as i realised how much i shouldn't of done that. as wrong as it was it felt so right to be back in his grasp again. i finally opened my eyes "i'm sorry" i quickly ran back to the house, i could here mase calling and running after me but i couldn't let that distract me.
