Chpt. 7 "Rescue Plan"

*Ubuyashiki Estate*

Kagaya: "Welcome my children. Thank you all for coming here today. I'll cut straight to the point. You are all aware that Kamado Tanjiro and Kanao Tsuyuri have been kidnapped by an Upper Rank demon. We're here today to plan out a rescue plan."

Sanemi: "Huh? A rescue plan?! Master, with all due respect, what the hell are we suppose to do?! And how the hell are we suppose to even know if they're alive?! I mean, what use would Kibutsuji have for two useless ass childre-"

*thunk*

         Sanemi stopped his tirade as he suddenly found Shinobu's sword lodged into the ground right next to him.

Shinobu: "Shinazugawa. You'd be well advised to not bad mouth my sister in such a way."

Giyu: "The same can be said for Tanjiro. Honestly I envy the simple minded fools who can confidently refer to someone who holds the original breathing technique as useless."

Sanemi: "What?!"

Giyu: "Nothing."

*Clap*

           Sanemi, Shinobu, and Giyu all stopped their bickering at the sound of Kagaya clapping his hands together calmly in order to get their attention.

Kagaya: "Now is not the time for petty arguments my children. Tanjiro and Kanao, much like you Hashiras, much like every single demon slayer, is infinitely important to us. And to answer your question Sanemi. We have very good reason to believe they're alive. According to the crow that followed them, Tanjiro and Kanao were dragged off to a specific location. Once there, a biwa strum was heard and a door appeared up in the ground and opened up. We believe that this may be the location to Muzan's home base. And if Muzan was out for the kill on the two, then the upper moon they encountered would've surely done it himself. We know from the events of the Mugen train disappearances and Kyoguro's battle against Upper 3, that the moons are not hesitant to go for the kill on Tanjiro."

Mitsuri: "Wait a minute Master! You're not planning that we raid Muzan's home base and rescue them right?!"

Kagaya: "I am, Mitsuri."

Obanai: "Master, I must object. An operation like this is far too risky. Chances are some of the Upper moons will be around them."

Kagaya: "That is likely. Though from the events of the red light district, around 3 or so Hashira will be enough to put an upper moon down. For the stronger of the upper ranks, 4 to maybe even 5 or more may be required though, so it's a gamble with how many of you I'm sending."

Obanai: "So you don't intend to send all of us?"

Kagaya: "No. As you know, Nezuko is an interesting specimen when it comes to demons. She's managed to completely evade Muzan's control up to this point. There's no doubt that he'd like to capture her as well. therefore, only Gyomei, Sanemi, Giyu, Shinobu, and Muichiro will go, acompanied by 5 lower ranking demon slayers for each one of you, including Agatsuma Zenitsu and Hashibira Inosuke. Several kakushi will be on standby for cleanup and injuries. Staying grouped up will be critical. One on one confrontations are the last thing we want. Obanai and Mitsuri will stay at the butterfly estate and keep watch over Nezuko. Making sure no demon attacks occur while the others are away."

Sanemi: "And what of you, Master? Shouldn't someone stay behind and guard you just in case you're a target instead of Kamado's sister."

Kagaya: "Do not worry Sanemi. I will be safe. Besides, if worse comes to worse. I'll be ready."
