"(Y/n)!!!"
"(Y/NNN)!!!!"

Screams tormented your ears. You wrestled with yourself not to turn back, the terrifying, blood curdling screams both pushing you away and pulling you back. A steamy mist of fog encompassed the bizarre forest you stood in. Stacks of chairs, all in perfect rows, created a manmade forest all around, trash taking the place of the usual forest floor.

You panted as you ran, running away from the terrifying shadow looming around every corner, slithering through every dark shadow. All the while you dreaded the screams. You wished to run back to them; to help however you could. But, the looming figure prevented you from that. The monstrous sight not even you could comprehend! In the back of your mind, as terrible as the voices were, you wished they would never stop.

Cree!

You accidentally stepped on a rusty piece of metal which gave away your location. The dark shadow turned around a corner at once, the blurry shape of two glowing white eyes attached to this formless beast. It snarled upon sighting you, opening its jaws of pure darkness to reveal a faded light. Though you were terrified, it wasn't that that made your night even worse.

It was the silence... The sudden...horrifying silence. No longer did the screams reach your ears. Only...silence.

The monster stood there motionlessly as you dropped to your knees. Under your weight, your arms could barely even hold you. Through tightly clenched jaws, a hiss of pain pushed its way through.

"Gh!.. A-..a-...Aaa-haaaa!" A pathetic cry weakly broke from your lungs. So real, so raw. The fresh wound so utterly terrifying! The pain was so intense, you felt like vomiting right then and there.

"(Y/n)!" Your name echoed through the mist, only this time, it wasn't the same as the others. Sounded more like...

"(Y/N)!!" Kim was halfway on top of you, holding down both of your wrists with her own. In a panic, you flung the small woman across the bed. She meekly slipped off the other end with a weak plop. "Oww!"

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Sitting up quickly, hands over your mouth, it was only instinct for you to apologize without even knowing what had happened first. On the other side of the bed, helping Kim up, a rather worried looking Val stood as well. "Wh- why the Nether were you on top of me, though?!" You reasonably asked.

"You were screaming in your sleep and scratching your own FACE! What the Nether was I NOT supposed to do!?" Kim shouted, rising into view with a more than concerned scowl on her face. Just then did you feel the subtle lines of heat and pain stretching across your face and parts of your neck. Slowly, your head fell to view your idle knees as you sat there in bed, zoning out. Kim and Val spoke in muffled voices to your right. Terrible shame and guilt washed over you in that moment. You dared not even involve yourself in conversation. "Huh, (Y/n)! Where... Where are ya going?!" Kim's expression was worried, her eyes following your slumped form as it made its way to the bedroom doors. Without even answering, you wandered into the darkness ahead of you.

------------------------------

It was surprisingly quiet that night. Bright blue beams of moonlight peered through the windows lining the hall, brightening up an otherwise completely dark scene. You saw guards outside, keeping extra watch over the perimeter. But, not one of them was inside...

Your bare feet shuffled across the old carpet, the tickly sensation the only thing attempting to distract your clouded mind.

"Hmf... First time seeing you wandering these hallways in a while." A deep voice spoke. You spun around, sighting a dark figure with two glowing white eyes...peeking from the shadows. Your heart began to race, until... Herobrine stepped out under the moonlight, revealing his undefined form to actually just be him wrapped in a blanket, his eyes accompanied now by the sleepy face of a warn out king. The briefest of sighs released the building anxiety building in your chest. Standing a little straighter, you attempted to appear at least less tired than he was!
