Hillary avoids me in school, I don't know if it was because of the trauma of Mariam's death or something else.

I just couldn't tell. I have been doing investigations,  i made friends with those girls that were whispering about Mariam.

I got information from them well, they would call it gossip but I call it information to my investigation.

One of the girls was in Sss2, Precious was in my class .The other girl's name was Daniella.

They envied Mariam because she was so full of herself and everybody talks about her and praises her.

Daniella hated Mariam more because her dad always talked about her at home.

When she told me that. I was confused. How did Daniella's dad know Mariam, I know she's famous in the school and all that, but Daniella's father was not a member of the staff and he lives far away from our community.

Daniella told me her Dad goes abroad for business trips and he only comes back home two weeks in a month.

I asked her the last time her dad came home and she told me on the 19,April.

That was the day Mariam also came back to school unexpectedly.

I noted that.

Precious was silent the whole time Daniella filled me up as she was contemplating on one's navel.

" Don't you think it's suspicious she's asking you all this?" Precious wiggled her eyebrows at Daniella.

Daniella shrugged " Shut up joor, it's not as if she's going to kill me if i tell her."

Precious kept quiet but she looked uncomfortable. I stopped with the questions and changed the topic.

" So, when did you enter the school?"

" Kindergarten, I can't even remember."

" But you like the school and the teachers right?

" Sure, everybody is friendly and nice. That's why I'm still wondering how Mariam's body was found in the school."

There was a kink in my neck as she said that.
