I was on my way back home from the police station. I was called for more investigations. The officers found another evidence. Honestly, i don't think i can go on any longer. I told the police all what i discovered and the letter that Hillary gave me. I told them everything. I realised i can't do this on my own. Someone is watching me and i don't know. I don't even know who to trust. My dad is in jail. My mom is rarely home these days. I haven't seen or heard from Hillary either.
Days were turning into weeks, weeks turned into months. And it seems like there is no hope of finding Mariam's killer.
Another letter was sent to me. Someone dropped a letter in my jacket. I don't even how. I went out and when i came back, i found a letter in the jacket i wore out. I was holding a vital piece of information.
I recognise the handwriting too. The handwriting is Mariam's.
I sigh and i lock my door, throwing the keys into my purse. My mom is out in her shop and my little brother is with her. I am on my way to her shop to help her with the sales.
Something isn't right. I can sense it. Someone is watching me. I turn around, my eyes scanning the neighbourhood. It was quiet. No one was on the road, everyone is inside the house.
