General Headcannons

Makoto:

• Loving and caring dad all the way around 

• Is that one parent that's always supportive and tries to inspire you to reach your goals, but like almost to an annoying extent 

• Your dad is like your best friend sometimes 

• Tries to be the "cool parent" 

• Fails 

• Gives up and starts using the slang to annoy you instead of to be cool bc he finds it funny  

• "You finished all your homework? That's so lit!" 

• Tries to do dad jokes at some point, but decides they're not for him  

• He's super nice, but can definitely be parent-material when he needs to be 

• He's super positive too, like the living, breathing version of the "Keep Hanging On!" kitten poster  

Chihiro:

• Such a doting parent oml 

• He's so nice and understanding with you, like such an angel 

• But sometimes he's too nice, and too understanding, and just too much of an angel 

• There was a period of time when you were like 6-10 years old where you started taking advantage of his kindness 

• You would lie or sneak out just because you knew you could and that if you were caught you wouldn't really face any consequences 

•  Or if Chihiro told you "no," you would disregard it and do it anyway 

• Either One: Chihiro starts to notice this and brings it up when hanging out with Mondo and asks for advice 

• Or Two: Chihiro's just talking about you as part of his day while hanging out with Mondo and then Mondo points out that you're acting like a brat 

• Either way, Mondo tells Chihiro to put his foot down and be more tough 

• So one night you sneak out to play with your friends when you were supposed to be doing homework. When you get back home, Chihiro confronts you and actually has a consequence 

• Because full on bad cop isn't how Chihiro rolls, he also has a conversation with you about how A. your behavior is not okay, and that will need to gradually change and B. how you hurt his feelings by taking advantage of his kindness and patience 

• The conversation after the confrontation is the main reason you learnt your lesson 

•You may have wanted to do your own thing, but your Papa was the kindest person you knew and to make that kind person feel sad because of your own actions made you want to do better. 

• You respected him as a person, but after the confrontation (and Chihiro getting coached on how to be a more stern parent by Mondo) you started to respect him as an authority figure too 

• After that, you legit pretty much turned out just like your Papa, a complete cinnamon roll 

Byakuya:

• Such a harsh parent and teacher 

• He originally just wanted a kid so that he could have a Togami heir 

• But somewhere along the way he started catching ~feelings~ 

•It shows sometimes, but he still tries to hide it, bc tsundere
