Third POV

They were all looking over the ruins, ruins of a lab that today’s mission was all about. A lab that had been giving of some mysterious readings and once Tony had started to look into things, his questions had started to grow.

“Well, isn’t this just fantastic?”

He asks, turning his head to the side to see what the rest of his team is thinking. His masks deactivates in the progress and he can see how most of the Avengers relaxes, or rather, him, Bruce and Clint. The last two members are looking at the ruins with arrowed eyes.

“Something tells me that we are dealing with a third party here.”

Captain Carter speaks up as she takes a step forwards.

“So, what do we do know?”

The red haired assassin asks, her eyes finally turns away from the ruins. Her eyes travels to Tony who let’s out a heavy sigh.

“I guess we should just head back, I will see if I can figure out what has been going down here from there.”

Tony replies, placing his right hand over his nose back and rubs it. It’s being clear to the Avengers team that he isn’t happy about this.

“Sir, if I may interrupt.”

JARVIS suddenly speaks up and all eyes now turns towards Tony, or rather his speaking suit.

“Go ahead JARVIS.”

Tony tells his system, kind of curious what he has to say.

“I’ve scanned the ruin as best as I can, there is something that is sending out some kind of interference. But I have managed to learn that someone is alive somewhere under all of this, I just can’t get a proper reading on where.”

JARVIS explains and as the Avengers looks at one another, no one needs to ask what is going through their mind.

“Spread out! And work fast people!”

Peggy orders, and seeing how the rest of the team nods their heads, they start digging through the ruins. It takes them almost 30 minutes before Natasha finally finds something.

“Hey, Peg! I could really use your strength over here!”

She calls out, turning her head around to see if she can locate the other woman. She didn’t have to wait long, Peggy is beside her in only a few seconds. Nodding her head towards the heavy steel beam, Peggy takes a hold of it and lifts it up without a problem.

Getting a better angle to look underneath the beam, Natasha drops down so she can really get a better look. Her eyes grows when they land on what’s hidden underneath.

“I have eyes on a young woman over here!”

Natasha calls out, turning her attention towards Peggy that lifts the steel beam higher so she can slide in under. As she starts pulling the young woman to safety, Clint joins her to make it all easier. Once the two assassins have gotten the young woman into safety, Peggy drops the steel beam, which makes what was still standing on the old building collapse.

“Let me a look.”

Bruce says as he walks over to them, Natasha and Clint moves to the side so Bruce can work in peace.

“Well, I have a hard time believing this young woman worked in this place.”

Bruce tells them after a few silent minutes.

“Why not?”

Tony asks and as Bruce lifts up the young woman’s t-shirt so show her stomach, they are meet with scars. Scars in different healing stages.
