Yoongi wakes to the feeling of his daughter sleeping next to him. She must've gotten up in the middle of the night and came in his room. Slowly without waking her, Yoongi gets up and heads to the bathroom. After he finishes up in there he goes back to the room and picks up his phone, it was nearing nine in the morning. The noirette sighs and looks at all the messages sent to him from last night.

There were some from the group chat and then some from Jungkook and surprisingly, Hoseok. Yoongi figured he'd gotten his number from the group chat. The man sighed as he clicked on Jungkook's, the maknae's texts were just a bunch of apologies, as well as saying he and Hoseok made up. For the most part, all Jungkook said was that they talked things out. Yoongi nodded to himself at that, feeling proud that the two decided to act mature.

He then found his way to Hoseok's texts, wondering if he should text back or not. Then there was the younger's statement from last night, sending weird jitters down Yoongi's spine. He hadn't been on a date in years plus, did Hoseok really think it'd be that easy? Just for him to waltz back into his life and ask Yoongi on a date? He wasn't going to lie if he said he wasn't at least a bit curious though.

Maybe it wouldn't have to be an actual date, maybe they could just talk things over? They didn't really talk enough last time so there was more to be said. Yoongi needed to know if Hoseok was serious, what he wanted from him now. They couldn't just pretend they didn't have an assload of history together after all. The man sighed, feeling a headache start to form.

Mari stirred, Yoongi thought she was going to wake up but she just turned over and grumbled in her sleep. Yoongi smiled at his daughter and pulled the blankets up when they fell from her shoulders. He felt himself frown when his phone buzzed, pulling him back to reality. Hoseok had texted him again, asking if he was awake. Yoongi rolled his eyes before replying.

Yoongi: I'm awake.

Hoseok: Hey, didn't think you'd reply. Sorry that I was such an ass last night, it was so uncalled for and disrespectful of me.

Yoongi: It's not me you should be apologizing to.

Hoseok: Who is that? Jungkook and I talked things over last night, we're good. I think.

Yoongi: You should apologize to my daughter. She was really upset with you both.

Hoseok didn't reply for a bit after that, Yoongi thought he might've scared him off. Serves him right for making his daughter cry like that, him and Jungkook. His phone buzzed again and Yoongi gasped.

Hoseok: You're right, I should apologize to her for a lot of things. I thought that leaving was the right choice but I see now that it was in fact the wrong one. Nothing I can do can ever make up for the pain I've caused you both, I hope you can forgive me some day.

Yoongi wanted to cry at that, the tears were already threatening to fall. Instead he willed them away to text Hoseok back.

Yoongi: I think we should meet up in person.

They agreed to meet up in person but, Yoongi was starting to reconsider. Anxiety was nibbling away in his chest and he couldn't help but listen as the minutes ticked by on the clock. Jimin and Tae had taken Mari, Yoongi didn't think he could handle her being introduced to Hoseok again. Especially if they tell her he's her other father, it would just be too difficult for her to understand. Yoongi felt bad for sending her away all the time but, he and Hoseok had to get through this.

A knock on the door made Yoongi jolt back to reality, he shook his head to get rid of his distracting thoughts. He checked himself in the mirror one last time, not sure why he dressed nice but he looked good anyways. He opened the door to find an equally anxious but nice looking Hoseok, holding a bouquet of flowers. They were purple hyacinths, Yoongi took them and thanked Hoseok.
