Even when they weren't on set filming something for Marvel, that cast remained close. Chris had been there from the beginning and the others in

the movies were like family. He had more brothers and sisters now that he could count, and they kept in touch frequently.

Chris had a call with Anthony Mackie earlier in the day and he realized then that he hadn't heard from Seb in a few days. They at least texted pretty much every day so after he finished a few errands, he sat on his couch to call his friend.

He chewed on the inside of his lip and pet Dodger until he heard his friend's voice and instantly smiled. "Seb! What's going on, man?"

"Hey!" Sebastian smiled, slowing from a run to a walk so he could talk easier. "How are you doing? I'm sorry I haven't texted you."

"Yeah, what's that about?" Chris replied with an easy chuckle. "I know you've been busy. Fresh was great man, you were creepy as shit. You look like you had fun with Daisy."

"Daisy is a great girl," he agreed. "The movie was a lot of fun too, even if it was cold as hell for those night shoots."

"You and I both know those producers don't give a shit if it's cold. Gotta get the shot," Chris replied knowingly. "You got anything new working or are you taking a break?"

Sebastian stopped for a moment and sat on a bench then took a drink from his water bottle. "I'm off for a little while. I'm trying to be anyway. I do have something good going on though besides the good press."

Chris raised his brows in interest as he leaned back into his couch, reaching back with one hand to run his neck. "Oh yeah? What's up?" he asked with interest.

"I... I met someone," Seb smiled. "In one of the most unlikely of places too, honestly."

Chris sat up with a smile on his face. "Seb, how is that not the first thing you said to me? You should have answered with that statement," he replied with a friendly laugh. "Where'd you meet her? Who is she?"

"I met her at the after party of The Oscars. Her name is Ava," Sebastian answered, a smile in his voice. "She couldn't even remember my name. She called me Tommy Lee for half of the night."

Chris chuckled at her reference to his role. "She couldn't remember your name but you sure as hell remember hers, huh?" he asked with a knowing grin. "Was she there with someone? Are you stealing hearts?"

"No, she was alone," he answered as he stood and began walking again. "She uh... she worked at the event. A bartender."

"Ooh, so not an industry girl? Bold move," Chris replied with an easy smile. "What's she like? She must have something special to catch your attention."

"She was herself, I think that was the biggest thing. She didn't care about who I was or my name, she talked to me because she wanted to." Sebastian couldn't remove the smile from his face if he tried.

Chris nodded in understanding. "That's great. It's so hard to know sometimes if people like us for us or for our name." Girls wanted to date Captain America. Chris wasn't Captain America. "Dude, I can hear you smiling. What's she like?"

Sebastian laughed, feeling his cheeks heat up as he took a turn to stay in the park he was in. "Ava's really down to earth and a bit feisty. But she's also pretty reserved and shy. She's actually from Cuba, so I need to brush up on my Spanish."

As he listened, Chris reached out to pat Dodger on the back. He chuckled as his friend spoke of practicing his Spanish. "Cuban, sounds sexy. I'm sure she's gorgeous, yeah?"

"Oh my god, Chris." He sighed and shook his head. "She's beautiful. To this day, I am thanking all of the gods that she left her coat in George's car the night of the after party."
