Chris slept decently well in his hotel room; it was a struggle a lot of the time, but he was getting used to it. He was, luckily, a busy man. He knew it wasn't something he should complain about, so he didn't for the most part. He had appearances to do for Lightyear, but today he had better plans. Meeting Seb's girlfriend was far more exciting to him than another talk show appearance. This girl was different, he could see it in his friend's eyes when he talked about her.

He arrived first at the restaurant; he asked to be seated outside in the back. That could afford them the breeze of this beautiful day but with more privacy than if they were seated inside. L.A. restaurants made a point to try and help with the paps... except when they occasionally tip them off. This place was legit, though, and he knew that. He thanked the hostess who led him outside and he picked up his phone and texted Sebastian.

Chris: We're seated out back, bro. I'm waiting for ya!

Sebastian had just helped Luca buckle his seatbelt in the back of George's car when he heard his phone ding. He got himself situated, feeling Ava sit beside him as he pulled his phone from his Jean pocket. "It's Chris. He's put us in a private spot of the restaurant. That'll make things nice."

Sebastian: Sounds perfect! We're leaving now but we're not too far.

Ava exhaled the lingering nerves in her belly but maintained the smile on her face. "Oh good," she replied, expression perking up a bit more. The idea of being photographed still gave her butterflies. She knew it would happen eventually, but it was a big leap to take after hiding for years. She would be able to relax a little more knowing there was some relative privacy.

"How long is it gonna take to get there?" Luca asked, leaning forward to glance between the two adults in the backseat with him.

She couldn't help but laugh softly. "Not long, niño," she replied, resting her hand on Sebstian's leg as she did.

"The restaurant is only a few blocks away," Seb answered. "We just wanted to make sure that everyone will be comfortable.

"Oh, okay," the young boy acknowledged with a nod. He turned his head to look out the window before turning his eyes up to the man next to him. "His name is Chris, right?" he asked, wanting to be sure to get the man's name right. He was Captain America after all.

Sebastian nodded. "Yep, Chris is his name. He's looking forward to meeting you both."

"You hear that? How cool is that?" Ava asked her son cheerfully.

"So awesome," Luca said with a smile before he looked back out the window.

Ava smoothed her hand gently over Sebastian's thigh before squeezing it gently. "It is pretty cool," she acknowledged, nudging him a little. "Showing us off, huh?"

Sebastian chuckled and turned to kiss her softly while Luca was occupied. "Of course. Plus he keeps asking about you."

"It will be a good day," she replied with a tender smile, kissing him softly before she felt George begin to pull to a stop.

"We're here! We're here!" Luca exclaimed, nearly jumping out of his seat as his seatbelt was released.

Ava couldn't help but laugh. "Breathe, baby, you're too excited."

"There's exciting stuff happening!" he argued.

"Don't let him jump out and run into the restaurant without us," she warned Sebastian.

"I have him," Seb replied as she grabbed Luca's hand before he could jump to open the door. "Easy buddy, we don't want you to get hurt." He was thankful when George opened the door, making it easier to follow the young boy out to stand on the sidewalk. Luca was practically jumping in place. "Wait for your mom, Luca."
