Chapter Fourteen

James Corden laughed and looked towards Chris Evans, who sat on a couch next to him as the show returned from commercial. "Chris, I've been told that you brought a friend with you tonight," James said, leaning back in chair.

"I have, I have," Chris said with a nod.

"Should we bring them out? Let's bring them out," James said, and he leaned over to take a look at who it was. As the curtain pulled back, both he and Chris stood up.

"Sebastian Stan everyone!" James announced.

"Take a seat, take a seat," Chris said as he hugged his friend.

As the clamor of the audience quieted, James looked between the two men. "So it's all true, you two are really friends in real life."

Sebastian chuckled and nodded as he reached to pat Chris on his knee. "Of course! We always try to keep in touch with each other. I love this guy."

"Oh man, don't make me choke up," Chris said, gripping his chest dramatically.

"You're making a lot of Marvel fans very happy right now. The two of you together, come on," James said with a sure nod.

"Well, we aren't always in the same place but when we cross paths, we make sure to link up," Chris said with an easy shrug.

"What do you do together? Do Buzz Lightyear and Tommy Lee have any common interests?" James asked as the audience chuckled.

Sebastian smiled and nodded. "We go for a drink, see a movie, that sort of thing. Sometimes we work out together too."

The women in the audience wooed at the mention of two sweaty men and Chris chuckled and shook his head.

"Those sound like dates, if I'm being totally honest," James replied. "The two of you are both single, yeah? So, you have bro-mantic dates?"

A slight blush-tinged Sebastian's cheeks. "Chris is single," he stated.

Chris turned and smiled as the crowd began to chatter and reached out, patting his friend on the chest as he always did.

"Sebastian, you're in a relationship?" James asked to ensure clarity. "There are women in the audience weeping right now."

Seb chuckled but nodded, not denying it. "I am happily taken. We're very happy together."

"Can you tell us anything about her? Or is that also a Marvel secret you'd have to deny even if we guessed?" James asked, the crowd chuckling.

"I'll tell you that she's an amazing woman and that we're happy. That's about all you're gonna get," Sebastian chuckled. He didn't want her in the direct limelight. Not yet.

"And let me ask you this," James said, leaning into his desk. "How does she feel about your work in Pam & Tommy? I'm assuming she's seen the talking penis?"

Sebastian turned a shade of pink before running his hand over his face then through his hair. "When we met, she actually called me by Tommy Lee for two hours, so I'd say she's okay with it."

The crowd laughed and James nodded. "Can I ask you about a rumor that's been floating around involving both you and Chris?" he asked.

Chris leaned forward in his chair. "Uh oh, rumors involving us?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Yes, yes. There is a rumor... that the directors of Pam & Tommy wanted you, Sebastian, to ask Chris if he would be the voice of your penis in the show," he shared and Chris broke out into a laugh, resting his hand on his chest.

Sebastian watched as Chris threw his head back and laughed, making him shake his head. "It's true that they wanted me to call him, but I refused."

"That really happened?!" Chris asked with laughter.
