I Thought You Hated Me

Chapter 20:

I hear the door open and open my eyes. I see Emily, quietly entering and putting her stuff down while letting out a big smile. I let out a light quiet chuckle and slowly lifted myself off Dominic. I check the time on my phone and see I've slept for five hours. "That was so cute Natalie." Emily whispers and smiles so big, I shake my head and walk towards the cabinet to get a snack, trying to be as quiet as possible.

"Are you going somewhere?" I ask her, still whispering. She nods and points at the dress on her bed.

I give her a look of approval and nod. She changes quickly, looking at Dom making sure he doesnt wake up and catch her naked. I quietly laugh because she looks so focused and scared. She puts on her dress and does a little twirl and I look her up and down nodding. "Super hot." I whisper. She smiles then takes her heels holding it and heads out the door.

"I'm not coming home tonight," she looks over my shoulder to Dominic. "So you have the whole room to yourself." She says with a wink. I roll my eyes and shake my head.

"Not happening." She frowns and pinches my arms and I squeal quietly and shoo her away.

I take my bag to get out my laptop and notebooks to start working again. Every now and then I look over at him. He has no flaw, literally zero flaws. I imagine if he had been looking at me when I had slept and cringed. I sleep with my eyes half open and look my absolute worst. I shake my head and get back to finishing my work.

It's been two hours and Dom is dead asleep. I've been munching down on chips for a minute and each crinkle of the bag makes me cringe and look over at him hoping he doesnt wake up. He's still dead asleep, we're in the clear. I reach down for a chip and the loudest crinkle noise breaks out. I hear a groan and look over at Dom. He's moving and he places his hand next to him thinking I'm there. He taps a little and stretches then sits up slowly. His eyes are half open and he tries to let out a small smile.

I smile back, "Did you have a good sleep?" He groans delightfully in response and falls back onto the bed, stretching some more. I take some water from the mini fridge and go to stand next to the bed to pass him the bottle. His hand grabs my wrist and he basically throws me onto the bed. I laugh and so does he. He wraps his hand around my stomach and pulls me towards him and I melt into him.

I chuckle and he readjusts me so that he's spooning me. I feel every bit of him behind me. I feel his breath at the back of my neck, the warmness sends goosebumps down my body.

I let out a sigh and he hugged me tighter. "Did you not sleep with me?" There was a smidge of disappointment in his tone.

"I did, for five hours, then was woken up by Emily." He hums and my nipples turn hard again. He kisses the back of my head and then my neck, sending shivers down my spine.

"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?"

"Hmm, once or twice," I let out a chuckle. "Have I told you how pretty you are?" I say and he blows out a breath, I feel it hit my hair.

"I've missed you so much." He confesses and hugs me even tighter, holding me as close as possible to him.

"Me too." My voice is low, and quiet. I turn to him, shaking the bed. Our faces are so close right now. We stare at each other, in silence. I admire each part of his face and he does the same.

"You know," he leans in, giving me a small peck on my lips like it was the most normal thing to do. "I haven't slept because of you." My stomach drops and concern rushes through my body. He senses that and immediately shakes his head.

"I...I don't get it," I stutter, "I...thought you...had a lot of work to do." I sit up and put my hand over my mouth with so much concern in my heart and face. "I-I'm sorry Dom." He slowly pushes me down back towards him, smiling.
