Guests and distinguished people have started to arrive and continued filling the couple's house, which was professionally and beautifully arranged.

The spouses were inviting enough to hold the celebratory event in their own home.

Y/N and Carol barely spoke to each other ever since Y/N's arrival from London. However, to set aside any rumors, they put on their fake loving façade.

As usual, they made their entrance and walked down the staircase of their house as people turned their attention to them.

As Y/N and Carol walked down the stairs, their eyes roamed the area, and it landed to one.

Natasha Romanoff.

Before any of them could get to one another, the couple was surrounded by their colleagues.

The commotion settled when Y/N and Carol talked to their guests individually, and Natasha kept her distance.

Another guest arrived, which brought some eyes towards her. Maybe it was because of the provocative dress she had on.

Wanda Maximoff sure did make an entrance for herself.

She searched around and found the people she was here for.

Carol connected eyes with Wanda and turned to see Y/N glaring at her.

Wanda grabbed a glass of champagne as the waiter walked pass her. She smirked at both Carol and Y/N before walking off.

"Excuse me." Y/N smiled at the person she was talking to before walking after Wanda.

Carol stopped the woman and grabbed her arm. "Don't."

"What ? She's our employee, I just want to...talk to her. Is that wrong ?" Y/N asked, realizing none of them admitted to any of their affairs yet.

"Don't worry, I'm sure Mr. Vincent would love to talk to you. Where is he ?" Y/N tilted her head, testing the woman.

"I'm sure he's somewhere around here." Carol smiled at her bitterly.

Y/N raised her brow before walking away.

She searched around the floor, when she finally found Wanda in their hallway.

"You're not supposed to be here." Y/N told the girl.

"Don't you want me here ? After all, I am your employee." Wanda turned her attention from the picture frame to Y/N.

"I meant, you aren't supposed to be roaming around here." Y/N gestured.

"Well, I never liked being restricted." Wanda smirked, hinting something else in mind.
