Blossomtail woke up in StarClan. She grew afraid, thinking she died in her sleep. "Oh, StarClan... please not be willing!" she thought.
"You are not dead, Blossmtail," comes a familiar voice. "You are merely dreaming."
Blossomtail turned to see... Frogpaw, her sister. Her eyes welled up with tears, and she embraced her sister in a hug.
"Frogpaw, i missed you so much..." Blossomtail sobbed. "I'm so sorry... i couldn't protect you."
She feels her sister smile. "Don't worry about me," she meowed. "I am alive and well here in StarClan."
Blossomtail looked up, her eyes still tearing up. "If it wasn't for that new rule that Goldenstar made... you would still be alive," she meowed softly.
Frogpaw grew sad, and Blossomtail knew she was remembering her last moments with her. "I know, but i shouldn't have gotten angry either," she put in. "If i had controlled my anger, Goldenstar wouldn't have killed me, and you wouldn't have been so upset."
"Brambleleap thought it was his fault for not teaching you better," Blossomtail meowed. "He... he jumped off Open Gorge a few days later."
Frogpaw nodded. "I know," she meowed. "I had to lead him to StarClan, because no other StarClan warrior could fit where his spirit was."
Blossomtail sighed, sobbing even more. So many lives lost because of Goldenstar! Why must this happen??
"I know you wonder why you are here," Frogpaw meows softly, comforting her sister. "I have a prophecy for you, and only for your ears only. Do not share this with Goldenstar, because he will know."
Blossomtail looked up from her tears. "What prophecy do you have?" she asked.
Frogpaw's eyes grew dark, and Blossomtail knew there was a hidden meaning deep within those green eyes. "A red light will shed on golden star, and a shoe in frost will end the suffering with a red light."
Blossomtail looked confused. "A red light? A shoe in frost? Aren't all stars golden?"
Frogpaw started to fade away. "You'll find out soon enough," she meowed, her eyes betraying sadness.
Blossomtail woke up in her nest, still confused. "A red light... a shoe in frost... a golden star... what could this mean?" she thought.
