"Redpaw! Lightpaw! Shadepaw!" the clan called. It had been four moons since Blossomtail had her encounter with Treestar, and now the three kits had been made into apprentices.

Brushjaw was mentor to Redpaw, Wildstorm was mentor to Lightpaw, and Greenpaw had passed his assessment, now called Greenflight, and was mentoring Shadepaw. Once again, Blossomtail was without an apprentice.

"Meeting dismissed," Goldenstar meowed. "Blossomtail, come see me in my den."

Blossomtail was a little shook up, hearing that her leader wanted to talk to her. She got up, a little shaky, and went to the leader's den after the ceremony. She walked in, and Goldenstar was sitting in his nest.

"Come in," Goldenstar meowed.

"You wanted to see me?" Blossomtail asked.

"Yes, i wanted to ask how last night's medicine cat meeting went," he stated.

"Well, Jumppaw is now a full medicine cat," she meowed. "He is now Jumpthorn, because of his grumpy demenor. Goldsplash got her first apprentice, Sandpaw. She was so sweet. Dappleflame passed from an unknown disease, sadly. That's all."

"No prophecy or omen?" he pressed.

"None."

"Alright, you are dismissed," he meowed, waving her away. "Tell Frostedshoe to come here." Blossomtail nodded, and she back out quickly, telling Frostedshoe at the entrance that Goldenstar wanted him. She rushed out into the forest, feeling overwhelmed from Goldenstar's sudden meeting with her.

She was sitting by the river, watching the water splash below. She sighed. "He almost found out," she thought. "The golden star must be Goldenstar. If he heard the prophecy, he would immediatly know that Redpaw, Shadepaw, and Lightpaw are out to get him. The shoe in frost is obviously Frostedshoe. He cannot know that his evil reign is at an end, not yet!"

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Meeting Stone for a clan meeting," Goldenstar called.

It was absolutely pouring outside when Blossomtail had heard Goldenstar's meeting call. She groaned, dragging herself out of her den to go to the Meeting Stone. She was immediatly drenched before even making it to the clearing.

She knew Tigermask was sitting in the sheltered part of the nursery, waiting to hear Goldenstar. The elders, Swiftbreeze and Lightningmoon, were sitting in the entrance of the elder's den, not wanting to get their ears wet.

She sighed, remembering Briartooth. He had passed away two nights ago, and Swiftbreeze and Lightingmoon mourned thier loss for those two nights. She could only imagine him playing in the stars.

"As you all know, it is pouring outside," Goldenstar meowed.

"Really? I didn't realize," Brushjaw muttered. "I wondered why i was soaked."

Goldenstar glared at him before continuing: "Because of the weather, i have postponed Redpaw, Lightpaw, and Shadepaw's assessement to tomorrow, if it is not raining."

Blossomtail snapped back to reality, realizing that Redpaw, Lightpaw, and Shadepaw had already made it to nine moons. Her heart twisted, thinking of the poor kits against Goldenstar.

"Meeting dismissed," he meowed. "You all can go back to your dens."

Goldenstar leaped off the Meeting Stone and was immediatly back in his den before anyone could move. As Blossomtail moved to go to her den, the other warriors grumbling about the rain, she saw Frostedshoe staring at the leader's den, a weird look in his eyes. "I wonder what he's up to?" Blossomtail thought.
