Proposal

I was confused as to why he led me to the lake but I didn't mind. It sparkled like diamonds and was crystal clear. He went to a rock and lifted it. I was very confused but still looked at the water.

"Babyboy?"

"Yes?"

"Look at me."

I turned to look at him and was shocked. He was down on one knee with a ring.

"D-Daddy?"

"I know it may be sudden but I wanna grow old with you. Will you make me the happiest man in the universe and marry me?"

Tears fell down my flushed cheeks.

"YES!"

I fell to my knees and hugged him. He then took my left hand and slipped the gold ring on my finger. We then kissed and giggled.

"Thank you Babyboy, I'm very happy."

I started bawling.

"What's the matter baby?"

"I've always dreamed of this happening. But I always just thought it was in movies and television."

"You mean that crabby old lady wasn't married?"

"That crazy old bat was married. Her husband left after she kicked out her daughter for not getting into the college that the old bat wanted but the daughter got into the one she wanted."

"Wow, she really is a brat."

"Definitely."

I laid my head on his chest and watched the sun set. The perfect day. I used to think that I'd die alone or die young because of all the harassment and things that I've been called. But now, it's like I'm the prince of my own movie. Like Cinderella but as a male. A rough time but then, I found my prince charming.

"Ready to head home Babyboy?"

"Yea, this was a perfect day Daddy. Thank you for everything that you have done for me. This is the greatest feeling that I have ever experienced. Do you think we can go visit your parents?"

"Of course. They may be long gone but I would love you to meet them."

I smiled and stood up. We then walked to the car and got in. I played a little with the ring but I kept a smile on my face. I was pretty tired from all the excitement. My eyes slowly started to flutter shut.he placed a hand on my thigh making sure I was comfortable and I drifted off to sleep.
