Summer Love

March 9, 2015

Requested by someone.

***

the bacon sizzled in front of me,

ice cream cones stacked like the house I made when I was three.

he waved at me from the sea with a puppy in his hand,

I wish we'll forever stay like this, forever happy, forever grand.

my endeavor of endless kisses was never a reject,

he always told me that I've always been his reflect.

he sang songs for me like I'm someone worth to keep,

and I'd write him poems because he's just someone so deep.

I'm in love with him but I just can't see the paint,

the drawing of our love has always been so faint.

he once thought I just don't him,

but the truth is I'm just so in love more than it may seem.

but everything he sees is something not worth to love,

it is temporary and will soon fly like a dove.

I'm gonna leave soon and this season's gonna end,

he'll forever be my summer love and I wish his heart he'll soon lend.

He doesn't deserve such pain,

I love him so much and I can't see him in vain.

A/N: Been a while since I last composed a poem that rhymes. Hope you like it, though.
