"I should be eating something healthy since I am racing this weekend but.." Daniella shot a mischievous smile at the camera as she showed the bowl of pasta in her hands before putting a spoonful in her mouth.

The makeup artist chuckled as she continued her work while the cameras filmed the process.

"This is your second Met Gala, how are you feeling?"

"Excited," Daniella replied with a smile. "Definitely not as nervous as the last time," She let out a laugh. "I mean last year was really nerve-wracking, I would have collapsed in the middle of the red carpet if it wasn't for Lewis and a Xanax. But this year I am confident and excited."

The hairstylist worked on her hair, pulled the long strands back, and styled it into a tight bun that showed off her cheekbones.

"Is there any other driver you would like to see walk the red carpet next year?"

"Oh, all of them," Daniella instantly replied and her face lit up. "Half of them would smash it and the other half would definitely butcher it or just wear regular black suits."

After the makeup and hair were done Daniella went to put on her dress which was heavy and took a team to dress her up. She barely recognized herself in the red and golden outfit.

The long train of the gown which was heavily designed was proving to be a bit of a struggle while walking but to her, it was worth it.

The team of stylists then helped her put on the jewelry, being extra careful to not ruin her makeup or hair. The look was then completed by a golden headpiece, it was not heavy but looked extravagant but it pulled the entire look together.

"Wow! It looks busy in here," Lewis said as he entered the room, dressed in a casual outfit since he is not going to the gala. He smiled at the camera before looking for his teammate and she was hard to miss.

"What do you think?" Daniella excitedly asked.

"Wow!" Lewis gasped as he scanned the entire look with his eyes, barely recognizing his teammate.

"Good wow or bad wow?" Daniella let out a nervous laugh.

"Amazing wow," Lewis smiled. "I barely recognized you."

"I barely recognize myself," Daniella said in an obvious tone before checking herself out in the mirror one more time. Part of her feels like the outfit was too much but it was Met Gala, nothing is too much there.

Lewis quickly pulled out his phone and clicked a few photos, a couple of them being candids.

"Don't post anything before I walk the red carpet," Daniella warned Lewis.

"Yeah yeah I know, don't teach the teacher," Lewis replied.

Soon it was time to leave and Daniella suddenly felt a bit nervous but she managed to ignore it.

"See you at the after-party," She waved goodbye to Lewis before walking out with her team who was helping her out with the outfit.

Daniella let out a deep breath before stepping out of the limousine. She waited a couple of minutes as the stylists fixed the dress before she started walking the red carpet.

She heard the fans waiting outside screaming, some calling out her names, and the cameras flashing and clicking towards her.

She posed for the cameras, taking in the moment before walking up the stairs where she gave a short interview, explaining her dress and look, and how she is feeling about her second Met Gala.

After the long day and the after party Daniella finally made it back to the hotel and was out of the extravagant outfit. Wearing her night suit never felt more comfortable to her.

She wanted to go jump on the bed and sleep but forced herself to do a bit of skincare which her makeup artist recommended since they put on a lot of products on her face.

"Finally.." She huffed as she looked at the bathroom mirror one last time before heading to bed.

She pulled the covers and was about to hop on but a knock on the door stopped her. She crooked her eyebrows in confusion since it was past two in the morning as she went to open the door.

A light gasp left her lips as soon as she opened the door.

"Did I wake you up?" Max asked, sounding concerned but a smile breaking out on his face.

"Wha...what are you doing here?" Daniella looked surprised but happy. She didn't wait for an answer and jumped into his arms, wrapping both her arms and legs around him, hugging him tightly.

Max let out a laugh as he hugged her back and kissed the side of her head.

Daniella slowly let go of him before pulling him and his suitcase inside her room.

"I know you said not to come and surprise you but I planned this before you said that," Max explained.

"Forget what I said," Daniella smiled. "I'm very happy that you are here," She said before kissing him.

Max immediately kissed back.

Both were tired but it washed away in each other's arms.

"I am here for only six hours," Max said after they slowly broke the kiss. He has to fly to Miami and so would Daniella but on different flights.

"Six hours of some private time before the race weekend," Daniella smiled. "I think we both know how we will spend it."

Max chuckled as he had the same thought in mind.

"Let me get changed and then we can sleep," He kissed her.

Max didn't take much time and joined Daniella in bed. They quickly pulled each other closer and were facing each other

"You looked really gorgeous today," Max softly said as he gently caressed her cheek.

"Maybe next year you will be able to go with me to the gala as my date," Daniella said.

"I would go anywhere with you," Max gave her a soft smile.

Daniella felt a warm feeling spreading inside her chest which was unexplainable at the moment but she was sure it was because of Max.

"I was thinking..." Daniella said as she looked him in the eye. "We didn't put a label on what we are to each other..."

Max listened to her as his warm hand continued caressing her.

"But I think it's time we establish that," Daniella nervously said, making Max skip a heartbeat. "I would like to be your girlfriend if you are willing to be my boyfriend."

Max's eyes traveled from her eyes to her lips and slowly kissed her.

"I was ready for this for weeks," He smiled as lips lingered on her, his beard gently brushing against her cheek.

"Thank you for being patient," Daniella softly said before Max kissed her forehead.

"It was not easy," He joked, causing Daniella to chuckle.

A/N: What do you think about Dani's Met Gala outfit? Was it too much?

And what about the Met Gala in general? I think it was a bit bland, for me, not a single outfit stood out, except for Blake Lively, she will the most gorgeous one for me.

Max surprised Dani in NYC and they are officially in a relationship. How long do you think it will last?

Also how cute and romantic is Max?

Okay but imagine what if Dani was a Wolff? ;)
