"What a powerful Pokémon" Giovani sat in his office, reviewing the street footage from Viridian City "I need it for my collection" He laughed to himself, before swiftly turning on his chair. "Do you know why I've called you here?" Giovani asked the recruits in front of him
"No sir" replied 1 recruit, a woman in an inverted version of the Team Rocket uniform, with long curved purple hair.
"Does it happen to do anything with the Squirtle you just showed us?" Asked another. An awkward man, who wore the same uniform as the woman. He had a messy mop of light blue hair on his head, which strangely came across as stylish.
"And how you whispa'd, I need it for my collection, to yourself?" Asked the third recruit, a small Meowth who had the peculiar ability to talk English.
"Yes indeed, I need the three of you, Jessie, James and Meowth, to get me that Squirtle!"
"But sir, we're perusing Pikachu" the woman, Jessie, replied
"I know" Giovani enlightened
"So are we giving up on Pikachu?" The man, James, asked
"Of course not!" Giovani said sternly
"But siyr, ones headed to Pallet Town, and the others headed in the opposite direction" The Meowth, simply named Meowth, explained "How do we puysue both of 'em?" He asked
"Oh, I'm sure you'll find a way" Giovani replied "now quick, out of my office!"

"Squirtle, use Bubble Beam!"
"Squirtle Squirt!" Bubbles shot out of Squirtles mouth at an alarming rate, hitting Paras and knocking the Pokémon over, it then fainted.
Mallory fetched an empty Pokèball from his bag "Pokéball, I choose you!" He shouted as he threw it at Paras. The ball shook, once, twice. The ball stopped and Mallory picked it up from the ground. "I caught a Paras!"
"Squirt Squirt Squirtle!" The Pokémon rejoiced.

"Sir, Jessie, James and Meowth have arrived" a screen dropped down from the ceiling, it flicked on to show Giovani on the other end of the call.
"What do you three want?" He snapped
"Sir, please forgive us for what happened at the Viridian gym" Jessie pleaded. The group knelt down in front of the screen
"It was a terrible mistake" James elaborated
"It won't as affect my year rent bonus will it?" Meowth asked
"How dare you waste my time? I want rare Pokémon, not your pathetic excuses"
"We'll get you those rare Pokémon, don't you worry sir" Jessie explained, before running off, hastily followed by her team members.
The Boss wanted Pikachu and Squirtle, so Team Rocket wouldn't stop until he had Pikachu and Squirtle. And any other rare Pokémon they steal on their journey.
