Anna POV:

Shit. I stepped back from Calums arms, after realising what I had just done. We both sort of just fell into the kiss, it felt natural. I don't know. Two bad things; He's with my sister, of course, and it's my mothers night. Imagine how good of a daughter I'd be if I ruined her night by having an affair?!

I left the balcony me and Calum were stood on, quickly waved by to him, and left to go find Michael. I couldn't face Daisy right now, especially not after what I just did. The guilt is practically swallowing me whole.

Peering over the countless heads, there he was. Bright red, naturally placed hair belonging to the Michael Clifford. I strode over to him, and just readjusted myself.

"Hey, Anna"

"Hiya Michael! How are you? Are you enjoying it?" I questioned, trying to distract myself.

"I'm good! Yes, of course I'm enjoying it- it's not every Friday you get to spend in a castle as lovely as this. I feel a bit out of place with this"
He pointed to his hair, clearly being more distinctive than anyone else in the room.

We both chuckled, and I patted him on the shoulders and left him. He told me he was going to find his best mate, Luke.

Luke was quite good looking too, but he couldn't top Calum or Michael. I can't go after their entire friend group can I?

**

I eventually found Daisy and Calum, and we all sat down next to each other in our seats at the front. Daisy sat next to me, with Calum sitting the other side of her. Thankfully he didn't try pulling any swift moves so far.

Apart from us on the front row, one other couple sat besides me. A woman who was in about her 50's, with deep chocolate hair and piercing eyes; and a man in his late 50's/ early 60's, with dirty blonde hair. I wondered if they'd gotten the wrong seats.

These were meant for close family only.

I brushed it off, and continued to watch as my attention was taken to my mother and the previous royalty place the crown on her head.

"Queen Liz, do you take responsibility that you have power over this country?"

"I do." My mum replied.

"Do you understand the challenges you may face from this position? And any struggles, you know how to solve them?"

"I do." My mum answered. I felt like a little kid. I was beaming with a huge smile and felt all warm inside. I looked over and saw Daisy tearing up, alongside my Dad too. Calum was stood there smiling like a child on Christmas Day. I loved how involved he was in our family, it was so cute. My parents loved him too, so it's okay.

I locked eyes with Michael, who seemed to have been staring into space. He was staring in my direction; so I stared back at him and analysed him. He's so pretty. I was forced out of this by my sister, nudging me in my ribs, making me send her a stern look. I can't hide things well.
