Anna POV
The ballroom held several bubbling glasses holding champagne and all sorts of beverages. There my mother stood, at the top of the spiral staircase. She looked gorgeous, and my dad stood beside her, admiring her. They had always been the best parents I could ask for. The two both had such a heart felt love I couldn't not be jealous of. I want someone to love me like that one day.
I saw Michael and his best friend, Luke, chatting inaudibly to one another. Yes. Luke, the 'fit one'.
Why are they all so attractive?
I found myself wandering past them hoping I didn't have to make eye contact with them.
Unfortunately, my eyes locked with Luke's as I admired his fair blonde hair, his black metal lip piercing that sat on his lips perfectly. His deep-blue eyes that appeared to hold years of stories behind them, stared back at me with desperation. The times I've been lost in those eyes of his.
Luke POV
Anna. A name I've heard several times from Mikey and Calum. Mikey would always be talking about how "gorgeous" she was, and Calum was always telling us about his fun "adventures" with her most nights. I wanted to challenge Michael, so I found her stood before me and she was staring into my eyes. Her eyes were a deep chocolate colour with slight green in them. Saying they were gorgeous would be an understatement. Saying she was gorgeous would be an understatement.
And, she's not full royalty, making me have even the slightest more chance with her. Breaking our eye contact, I stepped forwards and spoke.
"Enjoying yourself, sweetheart?" I said, wanting to see what sort of reaction I would get from her. As I expected, her cheeks instantly became flushed as she avoided meeting my gaze. I lowered down and came face to face with her, letting out a little smirk as I tried to read any emotions she was giving off. "You look pretty tonight you know?" I saw her face again blush as she looked me up and down before taking a breath and replying:
"Blue really is your colour. It makes your eyes pop."
She looked at me, and I felt a smile forming on my face. She really thought I would take that compliment unnoticed, huh?
