"mm." hisano hummed, sniffing jungwon's collared shirt. she loved his scent, it comforted her."jungwon's right, you are very weird." heeseung commented, chuckling while looking at the rearview mirror.
"he says i'm weird? that's so mean." she tried acting upset, but all she could do was smile at the fact that jungwon talks about her to someone.
heeseung sighed, "i think i've gotten closer to him because of you." he mentioned.
"huh, how so?"
"i just think... he's spoken to me wayyy more this whole month than when he first moved in." he explained, "and it's a bunch of silly conversations about how he feels about you."
hisano blushed, flustering over such a minor thing, "isn't that supposed to be a secret..?"
heeseung just chuckled, putting a finger against his lips, "shhh. don't tell him i told you."
hisano rolled her eyes playfully before looking out the window, sighing, "i really like him." she blurted.
"i know." was all heeseung said, a small smile curved up on his lips.
they finally made it to her stop, "here we are." heeseung said, looking out the window which revealed the laundromat.
hisa opened the car door and waved, "thank you!" she said.
he nodded, "anytime." before driving off.
she stared at the laundromat, sighing before walking in.
she felt like something was missing. jungwon, of course. but something else.
she checked her pockets. she had coins, she always had coins.
ah, that's it. she had no detergent to do the actual laundry.
"hisano." she heard a voice saying. the voice of someone very important to her.
what scared her the most, was that she was alone in the laundromat.
she swiftly turned around and saw nobody, soon she let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding.
"jesus, i'm going insane." she muttered to herself.
she then decided to just go home, she had no energy to go get detergent then go back. "i'll do it tomorrow." was what she told herself.
~~
two days had passed and now she was finally free from school, she decided that it was time to wash his clothes.
she went home first and took the laundry detergent before jogging down. when she arrived, she checked all his pockets to make sure she wouldn't mix his belongings in the washing machine as well.
that's when she felt that familiar, thin rectangular journal.
she quickly pulled it out and stared at it, observing it carefully.
"oh jeez, i forgot about this thing." she 'tsked' at herself for being so forgetful.
she put it in her pocket before smelling his clothes one more time then shoving it into the washing machine.
"it'd be nice if he gave me one of his shirts." she giggled to herself, clicking the button to start the machine.
once it began spinning, she found herself staring into the machine. her eyes shifted into staring at her own reflection through the glass.
her hair wasn't tied up this time. she was wearing a t-shirt rather than a zip-up hoodie.
she looked different compared to that day she met jungwon.
