Chapter 12

"Ew,"Venicity's disgusted shriek rang in the room. Ciel,who heard it,snapped out of his trance and went to where she is.Unfortunately,Sebastian got there first and saw that Venicity has found a brain splattered in one of the desks.

"It seems like a cow's brain to me,"Sebastian said while examining it. "It does look quite similar,"says Venicity who has been to her family lab for biology class with her tutor when she was a little girl.

"Forget about the brain,there's a weird key here,"Ciel's voice boomed in the quiet lab."A key?"Venicity asked quizzically and went to Ciel's side."Hey,it looks familiar,"she said as she picked it up carefully to examine it.Sebastian walked there to in case if his young master did anything.

Suddenly,Venicity started mumbling stuff that even Sebastian couldn't decipher.Her eyes started to turn into a light shade of pink and her mumbling became faster."Venicity,are you alright?"both Ciel and Sebastian asked. They were ignored as she kept mumbling."Mon vista esch, lest vien ot cour diem quet,"was what the man and boy could hear. "What's she saying?"Ciel whispered to Sebastian. "I'm not sure myself,Young Master,"Sebastian whispered back. "Well,we've got to stop her,it seems like she's possessed or something!"Ciel grumbled. Sebastian then tapped Venicity's shoulders to get her attention but no avail. He thought for a bit before snatching the key from her grasp. 

She gasp and blinked thrice,looking at her surroundings. "What happened?"she asked in a soft voice. "Apparently you were mumbling some weird words while your eyes glowed,"Ciel replied. "Mumbling?"she tilted her head,trying to snatch the key from Sebastian to have a look at it again. "I'm afraid i can't hand it to you,Venicity,you'll be just like before if i do,"Sebastian shook his head,lifting the key higher.

She pouted and stopped to catch her breath."Wef let wein non quo,"she mumbled. Sebastian heard what she said and he asked her to say it again,to which she did. "What's that language?I haven't heard of it,"Ciel said. "Ehe,"she giggled before replying,"I'm not actually sure too." "We'll head back now.Go research about the key,Sebastian. Venicity,you'll help me with language study,"Ciel ordered,feeling disappointed while heading to the carriage.

"No!"Venicity groaned in frustration.She's been trying to teach Ciel Japanese for an hour and he still can't pronounce the words. He was pretty good in Latin and he finished it before the class usually ends with Sebastian so she thought about teaching him an Asian language for a change. 

"Then how would you expect me to say it?"Ciel groaned as well,obviously frustrated.

"It's not read as 'HajimemaSHITe' it is read as 'Hajimemashte'! You don't pronounce it with a 'shit'! The 'i' is silent!"she said,flicking his forehead."It's not my fault that the spelling has 'shit' in it!"he countered. "It's not my fault that you can memorize hiragana but not pronounce the actual words!"she said. "You're worse than Sebastian,"he glared at her. "I'll take it as a compliment,thank your stupid butt very much!"she huffed and continued teaching him.

Meanwhile,Sebastian who unwillingly called Grell for help with the key was facing troubles.Grell said he has seen this key before but he won't tell him about it without a kiss."Grell,focus. I just need you to tell me about this key before in your useless life!"he muttered. "The only key i want to talk about is the key to your heart,"Grell cooed before being punched in the face. 'Desperate times call for desperate measures,' Sebastian thought. "I'll hug you if you tell me about this key,"he said in a serious voice.

"Kyaa,"Grell squealed. "Of course i will,my dear,"he winked at Sebastian,making Sebastian mentally barf. Grell would then explain to Sebastian about the key while trying to flirt and touch with him.Sebastian slapped his hand away everytime but he kept his promise and hugged him afterwards.

He threw Grell out of the manor and scrubbed the kitchen clean of 'Grell germs'."I've still got 15 minutes before his violin lesson,"Sebastian said to himself as he looked at his pocket watch.He made some snacks for both his master and Venicity in case they got hungry."So that's why she kept chanting that language,"he grinned,going to his master's study with a tray of chocolate lava cake and fruit tea.

Here is the long awaited update after a long time! the good news is that i'm probably getting a new laptop next year so i can update more and my days have been really weird because of these random story ideas popping up in my mind. I hate having to lend others' laptops/computers to update. ;3;
