Once again, Maria in search of a way to collect money to support her college scholarship.
"This time, at least I have a mom." - Maria thought..
She used the last quarter in her pocket to make a call. At first, it was her dad she wanted to call. Well, she decided to call her mom instead.
She asked how she could finally meet her. Maria went off to the hospital to meet her mom. Marie was a nurse at St. Jude's General Hospital just a block away from the phone booth she was in.
A new day. A new life. This is going to be the start of something new.
