Chapter8:Unfinished Business

Y/n's POV:
I wake up finding myslef on selena's lap. She was caressing my hair. "How are you feeling" she asked smiling at me. "Fine. How long was i sleeping" i asked. "an hour and half..i guess" she said looking at the clock. "You could have got up when i fell asleep" i said "but you wanted me to stay, so i did." She said kissing my forehead. I got up from her lap and kissed her on her lips. "You're the best, sel. I love you" i say breaking the kiss. "I love you more y/n/n" she said. "Alright, I gotta go baby" i say getting up from the couch "take care and answer my calls" i say "you too take care" i kissed her again before leaving.
I left her house. I was still confused by what the unknown person meant by that text. I dont care as long as selena was okay.

I went to school early this morning unlike everyday. I was waiting in our regular hang out spot. I called selena
She picked up quickly. "Good morning" i greeted. "Morning baby!" She greeted joyfully. "Where are you? I am at the school waiting for you" i asked. "I was getting in the car. I will be there very soon" she said. "Okay. Come soon...." i didnt completed my sentence and i heard her talking to someone. "Selena, babe" i called trying to bring her attention. "Yeah yeah.. sorry baby someone just dashed into my car. I'll call you later. I'll be there soon after picking up hailee okay?" she said "okay take care" i said and she hung up.
I waited for around 30 minutes before i tried to call her again. She didnt answer my phone. Then i got a call from hailee.
"Y/n, where's selena?" She asked. "What do you mean where is she? She was going to pick you up" i said. "Yeah well she didnt came to pick me up so i thought i will go check if she's at home and...." she trailed off "and what? Where is she?" I practically shouted. "Uhmm..her car is on the road with door open and noone inside. And looks like someone dashed into her car from behind."she said worryingly. "I am on my way hailee. Stay there please" i said and hung up the call.

I went to selena's house as fast as i can. I saw her car on the road and hailee standing near it. "Hey" she said when she saw me. "Have you talked to her? What happened when you talked to her last?" She asked "she was going to pick you up and she said someone dashed into her car"i said "y/n this doesnt sound good" she said. "I know hailee" i said sadly. Where would she go? Is she alright? Looks like she is in danger. The text from yesterday... was it indicating this? My mind started to flood with negative thoughts. If anyone laid a finger on her they are going to die in the worst way they could imagine.
Fuuck but where do i find her. I was interrupted by a notification on my phone. I clicked on it

Unknown:
Thrash. Or should I say y/n? Remember when I said take care of your dove. Guess what? You failed...

I read the message again and again trying to understand who it could be. Then a got a call from unknown number. I saw hailee was talking to someone on her phone so i picked up the call after walking a distance. "Oh y/n you poor little shit" the caller spoke
"what the fuck do you want?who the hell are you?" I asked. "Ah its me, Russo. We have some unfinished business to attend to". He said "what do you want russo?" I asked again. "I want you to not interfere in my business but your stubborn ass dont get it right?" Before i say anything, he continued "so i got your pretty girlfriend over here." "Say hi to your boyfriend" He said to someone over there "y/n/n" i heard selena's voice. "Hey hey baby you okay? I am coming. I'll get you okay?" I said but russo answered "you don't even know where we are" russo laughed "russo! You son of a bitch. I swear to god if you laid a finger on her i will fucking kill you" i shouted. "I'll see you try" he said and i heard selena scream in pain "oh look y/n i am still alive even after kicking your girlfriend" Russo mocked a laugh. "What do you want russo ask me. She has nothing to do with this" . "Now we are talking. Okay so listen i will text you an address i want you to be there within an hour or else you will walk over your girlfriend's dead body" he laughed again before hanging up the call.
I went back to where hailee was standing. "Dont worry y/n I called 911 and told them that selena is missing. They will find her okay?" She was trying to calm me down as my eyes were red for blocking tears and also containing anger. We both parked selena's car in her garage and hailee went back to her house.

I went back to home and changed my outfit and drove to the location russo sent. It looked like an abandoned place with no proper lighting. I entered the building and i find selena tied on a chair. She was tied with a gag so she cant even speak. I ran closer to her and i can see her face and hands full of red marks. My blood started to boil. As soon as she saw me she tried to reassure me she is okay now that i am here but fails as tears started falling from her eyes.
I tried to untie her when i heard someone approaching me from behind.
I turned and sliced their head off with my katana in seconds. Then i see 3 more people ruuning towards me. I stabbed the one who was infront of me while i shot daggers on the heads of the ones on the sides. Then I heard selena's voice trying to say something while gagged. I turned around to see a guy pointing gun on her head. "Stay the fuck away from my girlfriend". I said and before i could do anything someone hit me so hard with a bat on my head from behind knocking me out. I fell on the ground. My eyes locked on selena before they were closed.
