Chapter 2: New Girl In Town.

"Good practice today buddy. See you tomorrow.", Coach Red says.

I throw my phone down in my seat.
T-minus 2 weeks until the first football game.

Suddenly there's an aggressive knocking on my truck window.

"Gavin, what the hell you knocking on my window for?", I say as I roll it down.

"You hear we're getting a new student tomorrow?"

I shake my head. I did not.

"She's so hot dude.", he says pulling out his phone. "Look at her."

He shows me a picture of this fairly tan girl, with long brunette hair, and gorgeous blue eyes.

"Woah. She's pretty, where's she from?"

Gavin shrugs. "Some town in Texas."

I wonder why she's coming here then.

"Cool beans. We'll just have to wait and see her tomorrow. Im gonna go to the lot, everyone's waiting there."

He nods. "I'll right behind you."

The lot is a parking lot in one of the many strip malls we have. This was just never really busy, and no cops come over to this part of town. So we can get away with alot, and blast music.

I pull up to the lot to see its pretty packed.

I park my truck and get out, "Why is it so packed tonight?"

"That party at the lake got canceled so alot of us decided to just come crash here.", Lucas says.

"Cool I guess",I say. "Wanna go grab McDonald's?"

"Y-"

Just then we get interrupted by Ruby. A popular varsity cheerleader.

"Jakeyyyy!! Wanna come sit in the stang with me?", she asks.

I look at Lucas who nods.

"Sure. I guess."

I walk over to her mustang. I obviously know what she wants to do. So when we sit down, I cut to the chase.

I kiss her, and she obviously kisses back. She starts running her fingers down my abs, and reaches in my pants.

I break the kiss, and back away.

"No. Ruby. Come on.", I say.

"Jake. Stop acting like you dont want me. I know you do.", she sneers.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah right ruby."

Her grin turns into a frown. "Okay fine but one more kiss?"

I oblige. But that one kiss turned into a makeout session.

"See? You know you liked that.", she smiles, wiping her lip.

I roll my eyes, "Yeah yeah. I'm leaving."

I get out of her car and walk to my truck, I'm not in the mood for Ruby's shit. Im just gonna go home and sleep.

I get home and park the truck. I try to walk upstairs quitely, but my mother yells at me from the kitchen.

"Jake Dawson!"

I walk into the kitchen. "What?"

"Dont what me. The chef cooked us dinner, and your gonna eat."

I shake my head. "Not hungry."

My mother gives me the, you better do what I said if you know what's good for you look. I sigh and go sit down in the dining room and eat dinner.

Finally, I go upstairs and into my bedroom. I immediately get on my phone to see a snap from Ruby.

I open it. A mirror picture in a bra and short shorts.

I cough, sitting my phone back down and going into my bathroom, turning the shower on.

Ruby might seem nice and all. But trust me she's not. Me and her had a thing going on about 2 months ago. She's wasn't all that bad. But she used me, and broke my heart when she told me she used me. I liked ruby but she did not feel the same.

So I slept through my feelings during the summer, that is in multiple people's beds.

Now that I show little to no attention to her anymore, she's been trying to get me back. But I know better. Girls suck.

I turn off the shower and slip on boxers before walking over to bed and jumping in it under my cover.

As I closed my eyes, talk about the new girl coming tommorow came back in my mind. As if it was fresh information I was just told. I remember the beautiful picture of her vividly.

I push my eyes shut and force myself to fall asleep. I'm not gonna worry about girls. It's football season.

(The following Morning)

"Coming!!", I say slipping my other 270 on, and grabbing my phone.

"Jake. Your gonna be late if you don't hurry up!", my mother says as I am running out the door.

It's literally the first day of Junior Year Jake. Your about to start off the year late.", I thought to myself as I started the car.

I pressed on the gas, and sped just a little. Making it to school at exactly 7:58. 2 mintues before the bell rings. I speed walk to my new English class as it is my first hour of the day out of seven.

"Im Mrs. Morris yo-", she says as I am walking in. She looks at me then smiles.

"Take a seat anywhere you'd like."

I look around spotting and empty seat by Lucas.

"Hey what's up?", he says dabbing me up as I sit down beside him.

"Dude the teacher is so hot.", I say pulling out my phone.

"Your telling me.", Lucas says.

The teacher introduces herself and goes over the basic goals of this years class, rules, and other stuff like that.

Afterwards she gave of the rest of the hour to chatter and maybe meet new people.

I talked to Lucas most of the hour since he was the only guy I knew in this class. My eyes were glued my phone, I didnt even hear the classroom door open.

Lucas frantically taps my shoulder. "...dude that's her..."

I look up to see this girl. Long brown hair, deep blue eyes. She looked just like her picture.

My mouth stayed open before I quickly shut it, not wanting anyone to see the fact I was just aweing over this girl.

I look over at Lucas who is already looking at me and we both nod.
