Wanda arrives at her building feeling tipsy. She navigates herself towards the elevator while also trying so hard not to tumble down. She tried to walk as straight as possible, but she miserably failed at that part. When she finally made it to the elevator, she presses on the button and the doors slides open immediately and she gets in. She squinted her eyes to look for her floor number for her to press and when she did, the sound of the closing beaten down elevator doors echoed in her ears. She taps her foot, trying to picture Samuel who's probably waiting for her in front of her apartment door, waiting for the rent money or she's out. He's probably excited to throw her things out on the sidewalk in front of the old building or maybe he started contemplating about selling her things that would match the amount of money she owes.

The ding goes off from the elevator and the doors slides open again. She goes out and takes a sharp left. In the hallway, she immediately spots Samuel leaning by her door with a cigarette in between his lips. When he heard her footsteps, he quickly stood up straight and locked eyes with his tenant. Slowly shaking his head when he noticed that the girl was intoxicated in alcohol again. Wanda immediately grabs the borrowed money from the pocket of her bag before handing it towards her landlord. Samuel smirks and takes it then immediately inserts it in the pocket of his loose jeans.

"I'll be damned, Maximoff." Samuel laughed. He was curious because somehow, she manages to still pay her rent no matter how late it is. This happens every month. She seems desperate to keep her shoebox apartment because it was the only place she can afford and with her bad credit score, she probably won't be able to get another one once she loses it.

"Congratulations," Samuel commented sarcastically "You have another month." he finishes before he starts to walk away. "Adios!" he hollered down the hallway before taking a sharp right.

Wanda exhaled heavily and reached for her keys then opens the door to her apartment she has until her next payment. She enters and as she shuts the door, she stood at the entrance of her apartment and stares at it. She starts thinking about how she's slowly losing her dignity and pride as she continues to live the life she chose.

"Going to law school will help you in your future, Wanda!" her mom insisted.

"But I don't want to go to law school, mom! Being a lawyer has never been my dream. I want to finally go to arts school or become a writer." Wanda rebuts.

"Now? Now that you're closer to becoming a successful lawyer? What's the point of taking up political science then?"

"That's just to shut you up! You didn't really gave me much of a choice, mom. After high school, I pretty much can't live my dream of being an artist nor a writer since you said that you won't be supportive of me. I literally have to live your own dream for four years just to finish that goddamn degree but I'm done. I'm moving to New York to start paying my own dues and chase the dreams I am not allowed to have because of all of you!"

"You're nothing but a disappointment, Wanda. If you persue this, like your twin brother that left us, forget that we even exist and never come running back to us for help."

"Then I guess you just lost another child."

Wanda shakes her head from the regretful flashback and throws herself on the couch.

"Shit." she grunts and shuts her eyes for a while. Allowing the alcohol in her system to take her mind to some place else.

Anywhere else...

Her alarm in her phone goes off that sounded so muffled since it's still inside her bag. Wanda groans as she tried to sit up before realizing that she had fallen asleep on the couch. She reaches for her phone in her bag and stops the alarm. Her initial reaction was to head to the shower to start getting ready for work but she realizes that it's a weekend.
