After the Uber driver dropped them off right in front of the small, old-looking bar, Wanda took the liberty in opening the door for Natasha which the redhead found so adorable but didn't really wanted to fixate on the small gesture. Wanda spotted a perfect table for two in the corner of the bar and led the older woman to it and pulled a chair out for the redhead to sit on before sliding out a chair for herself.

"Such a gentlewoman." Natasha chuckled.

"Well, it's a date, isn't it? Also, I was the one who asked you out so, yeah. I think I should be the gentlewoman for the evening." Wanda smiled.

"Fair point."

The brunette signaled for the waiter to approach their table and ordered herself vodka on the rocks once again and requested for an ash tray for the table. Meanwhile, Natasha was confused with the girl's drink request but before she questions it, she orders herself vodka, neat. Also surprising the brunette with her drink of choice.

"Did you just ordered vodka to impress me?" the redhead asked as soon as the waiter left.

"How is drinking vodka going to impress you?" Wanda probed, letting out a light chuckle. "For the record, I was going to ask you the same question. I mean... vodka, neat?"

"Oh, so that's really your go-to drink?"

"It is. Sometimes, scotch, neat would do but I normally opt for vodka on the rocks. Why?"

"Nothing. I thought you knew that I'm Russian. That's why I assumed that you ordered vodka to impress me." Natasha smirked.

"You're Russian?" the brunette clarified, lighting up her first cigarette as soon as the waiter placed the ash tray on their table as well as their drinks.

"I am. I just grew up here in the states. Surprised?"

"A little, yeah. That probably explains the features on your face and your habit of looking so serious and intimidating." Wanda responded.

"Stereotyping me, huh?"

"What? No. About the features on your face, I meant that in a good way. You're beautiful, Natasha. Although, I gotta hand it to you on the 'serious and intimidating' comment. I just realized that I might have stereotyped you on that part a little bit. Sorry." the brunette chuckled.

Natasha wasn't able to respond right away after she heard the younger woman called her beautiful followed by her first name. She doesn't really hear compliments from people because of the way she acts and looks at people so this was new to her and it brought out another set of feelings she has been trying so hard to shrug off.

"Hey, Natasha? Sorry. Did I offend you?" Wanda checked, already feeling so concerned because the redhead suddenly went silent.

"Huh? Wha—, no. You didn't. I promise. It's fine. I mean, I can't really deny that I tend to look so serious and intimidating most of the time." Natasha finally responded. "Also, you can just call me 'Nat' if you want." she added before taking her first sip on her drink.

'Does this mean that I'm in?' Wanda thought to herself after the redhead agreed to call her by her nickname. There's something about how Natasha looked this evening with the single yellow pendant light shining above her that made her look so sweet and nice. Her straightened red hair, resting on both sides of her cheeks as she played around with her glass.

"You're so beautiful." Wanda whispered that made Natasha look at her straight in the eyes.

"You already said that." the Russian woman smiled, trying to calm the butterflies in her stomach that were going insane.
