"Jesus, Wands. Why didn't you tell me?" Sharon questions her friend after she told her about what happened between her and Natasha.

"Natasha wanted her privacy and frankly, I'm not entirely comfortable in talking about my dating life with anyone. It's a weird topic for me." the brunette replied.

"Well, what are you going to do now?"

"I have no idea. All I know is that I want to make it right." Wanda replies before trying to down her usual drink all in one go.

"For fucks sake, Wanda. That's your third glass in like, fifteen minutes. Slow the fuck down!" Sharon commanded and grabs the glass of her friend, spilling a little bit of vodka on the younger woman's jeans.

"Hey, isn't the hot woman in HR your aunt?" the brunette queries, not acknowledging what Sharon just said but instead, dabs a napkin on her jeans to where the vodka spilled.

"Who? Aunt Peggy?"

"Yes! Your aunt Peggy. Uh—, Ms. Margarette Carter." Wanda confirms as she snaps her fingers.

"What about her? Also, I'm going to ignore the fact that you just called my 48-year-old aunt and the HR of the company, hot."

"Whatever! Can you find a way to get Nat's phone number or her address from her? Please?" the younger woman begs.

"I don't know, Wands..." Sharon hesitated but she saw the pain and the desperation in her friend's eyes which was also breaking her heart. She witnessed her friend go through so much struggles in her life since the day she met her but this has been by far, the worst state she has ever seen her. "Fuck, okay! I'll see what I can do. But if she gets fired, it's your fault." the blonde one caved as she took a slug of her beer.

"Thank you, Sharon!"

It's been a week since Natasha requested for a sabbatical leave and Wanda is having a hard time functioning since then. Her habit of smoking came back and her drinking became worse. She goes through almost a pack of cigarettes in a day and she now keeps a stash of vodka and gin in her apartment for her to drink in a daily basis. Everyone in the office can tell that she isn't doing well and no one knew why except for her friend, Sharon. Gossips about her started circling in the office to why she has become like this but all of them are so far from the truth. No one even cared or noticed that Natasha hasn't been coming in to work.

Wanda came to work with her blouse's buttons inserted into the wrong holes, her hair hasn't been washed for days and is drenched in dry shampoo and deep dark circles formed around her green eyes from the lack of rest and sleep. Sharon allowed her to be miserable for a few days but she knows that at some point, she has to put an end to it. So when the brunette sat on her office chair, Sharon marched over to her friend who was discretely trying to take out her flask hidden in her coat's pocket. The blonde girl got furious and yanked the flask away from the younger woman.

Wanda glared at her friend for taking away what she considers as her only escape from the pain and her current reality but this didn't scare Sharon. Instead, she grabs the brunette's arm and drags her to the janitor's closet before locking it.

"Sharon, the fuck?!" Wanda grumbles.

"No! Listen to me! I allowed you to be like this for a little while because I knew you had to process your pain but this has gone so long with zero fucking progress, Wanda!" she started but Wanda paid no attention and attempts to take her flask back instead. "Stop it!" Sharon hissed before pouring all the contents of the flask into the drain of the small sink in the corner.
