I sat down in the grass, looking up at the stars, drawing the constellations.

That entire situation couldn't have been worse.

As soon as that came out of Jack's mouth, Ashton walked out of the room he was waiting for me in and Luke came up the stairs trying to find me. I had no idea what to do, so I was just waiting for the two of them to meet me out here.

I could feel the two of them come outside and stand behind me for a moment. I really just wanted to turn and say something, but I just couldn't.

"Hey." Luke finally broke the silence.

I turned around, "Hey."

"Okay, what the hell is going on?" Ashton burst as he walked toward us.

"About what? I think you need to be a bit more specific here, Ash." I raised my brow and put my hand on my hip.

"With fucking Jack! I thought you were done with his shit!?"

"Calm down, Ash. I guess there's just more happening in my mind than there actually is," I looked at my shoes as I began to explain, "Well, um, when Ashton and I broke up, Jack and I kind of had a thing."

"Define thing." Luke spoke up.

"Um, we messed around a bit." I stumbled, looking at my feet.

"Really, Lacy? That's all you're gonna say about it?" Ashton glared.

"Well, if you think you know all about the situation, feel free to say something about it." I glared at him, before realizing what I gave him the power to say.

Ashton sarcastically laughed, "You fucked him, Lacy. Just like you used to fuck me."

"What?" Luke's voice carried traces of hurt and betrayal, all of which I felt.

For once, I was at a loss, my heart felt like it was going to explode, so I can only imagine what Luke is feeling.

"You didn't know? You thought she was a virgin? Come on Luke, her and I dated for almost 3 years!" Ashton laughed, while I stood silent.

"Lace?" Luke looked at me, clearly hurt, and that's when I lost it.

I broke.

I finally broke, and I couldn't control anything anymore. The wind started going crazy, lightning broke through the dense clouds carrying the rain that started to pour. My heart was racing, my mind went numb and all I could feel was the tear of the bond. The only thing comforting me was knowing it couldn't break.

"Where the hell is this storm coming from?" Ashton shouted over the roar of the thunder before running inside, Luke quickly following, but not before locking eyes with me.

I could feel the pain in his eyes.

When they were both safe inside, I froze time. Falling to the ground, I cried, just like the clouds. I could feel myself slipping.

"It's tricky loving a human, but your mom did it. I have no clue how, sometimes I thought she would lose her mind, the way she started those storms over that man. Yet, at the same time, she would let the sun shine forever." Zachary whispered in my head.
