*Present time/July 2014*
"Dad, come on, I can't be late for this flight!" I yelled at my Dad who was walking to slow for my liking.
I got out of school a few weeks early because they decided just to give me my diploma, after a bit of arguing from my dad. I was valedictorian, so they settled on me recording a speech to be played so I didn't have to be there. Now, I'm going to Australia to see Luke and the rest of the band. I'm going to go with them while they go around the U.S. with One Direction... for the second time. Fucking crazy, I know.
Ever since the band took off, Luke's been crazy busy, but it's understandable. I was still in school in the states, so it was really difficult. A few days ago was the last day of stuff they had to do in L.A., which was the BBMAs, so they'll be on a flight later tonight.
Suddenly, a ringing from the speaker interrupt my thoughts.
"Final call for anyone boarding flight 39 to Sydney, Australia."
"That's me." I turned and gave my dad a hug and kiss on the cheek before running to the lady collecting tickets and checking passports. I turned around and waved to my dad before boarding first class.
Leaving Michigan was actually a little weird. It was raining here, which wasn't something out of the ordinary, but I've been living here since August 2009. It's the longest I've ever been somewhere, and I was growing attached. I surprised myself for liking it so much here, I usually preferred the warmer states when it came to moving around. Like when I lived in Miami, I lived there for almost a year and I loved it. Michigan is definitely the opposite of Miami, but I love it even more. There was just something about falling asleep to the sound of the rain, the raging storms, how everything was so earthy, so new.
Now, I just want to close my eyes and rest until I get to Australia.

I felt the plane starting to land when I woke up. I got up, grabbed my backpack, guitar case and headed off the plane. This time of year, it starts to cool down in Australia, but it's still warm, so I shed the jacket I was wearing over my tank top and leggings with a pair of vans, and my hair in it's usual top knot.
As I collected my luggage, a few girls noticed me and wanted a picture. I allowed them to take pictures, and was on my way to catch a cab. It was still weird to get noticed by people I've never met all because of being connected to Luke and the other 3 boys I've come to know as brothers.
After about 15 minutes, I got to the hotel Luke had informed me they were staying at. I checked in and headed up to my room. I set my bags down and fell onto the bed, knowing I wouldn't be able to sleep. I could've only been lying there for an hour or two when I heard a knock at my door.
"Ugh." I grumbled as I got up to open the door, my face instantly lit up, "Luke!" I gave him a huge hug as he picked me up.
"Hello to you too, Lace." He laughed as he kissed my cheek. I felt myself blush a little, until someone else picked me up.
"Hey, Lacy!" Michael cried out when I pinched him in the sides to put me down.
"Guys, she just got off a plane ride longer than ours, I imagine she wants her feet back on the ground," Calum said, "But what the hell!" He then, picked me up as well.
"Alright, I'm getting dizzy. Ashton you better not pick me up." I begged, but it did nothing as he threw me over his shoulder and carried me into my room.
He dropped me down onto the bed and laughed, "Sorry Lace, couldn't help myself." He kissed my cheek, making my heart beat a little faster.
"You guys haven't even been here 5 minutes and I already feel like slapping you." I groaned.
