"Okay, don't forget, I'll be back at 5:30 to come get you. Alright?" Luke was trying to say as I pushed him out the door.

"Luke, I'll be fine on my own. You go to rehearsal, then come get me at 5:30, okay?" I smiled.

"Alright," He leaned to give me a kiss on the cheek, "Oh wait, I almost forgot." He searched his pockets.

"Luke, you've got to go. I'm sure it can wait." I kept trying to push him into the hallway.

"Shut up and close your eyes." He laughed and took my hand as soon as my eyes were shut.

I opened my eyes to see an infinity ring placed in my palm, "Luke, I..."

"Read it."

Now & Forever, I smiled reading it. We always told each other that when we were on two different sides of the world that we're best friends, now and forever.

"Happy 18th, Lacy." Luke gave me a big hug, kissed my cheek, and left for rehearsal.

I didn't start crying until he left. Luke was really is all I had, besides my dad. I still had the guilt of falling for someone else, but why should I? Because of Luke, I have 3 other amazing best friends, have been able to learn how to be okay, and I couldn't be more content with everything. He doesn't need to be my boyfriend.

I decided to take my time in getting ready, even doing my nails for the first time in months. I painted them black, and took my matte top coat over the bottom portion of my nails, leaving the top shiny. I took a shower, carefully shaving my legs, and went right into doing my makeup. I did a simple winged eyeliner with a matte warm nude lip.

I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched, and the fact that it got at least 5 degrees cooler. Being oversensitive to temperture is extremely annoying.

Before I started on my hair I changed my industrial, put in the plugs Michael had given me earlier, and cleaned my lip ring. I curled my hair with a wand, flipping my fringe back with my hand, and ran my fingers through it before putting in some frizz control. I wore my favorite shirt that my dad bought, and I've only wore it once. It was a white cross printed, button up short sleeve tucked into destroyed black high waisted jeans and my pale pink sip on vans. I put on the ring Luke gave me, my mom's ring, and sprayed on perfume. I threw a few things into my purse before hearing a knock at my door. I took one last look in the mirror, then opened the door.

"You, ready to..." Luke stopped and just stared at me. I could feel the red hinting on my cheeks.

"You look beautiful, Lace." His eyes snapped up to mine once he realized what he said. I couldn't tell how red my cheeks were, but I knew it was bad.

"You're adorable when you blush." He laughed as he ran his thumb over my cheek, causing more of the red to sink in along with more guilt, "Come on, Lacy." He slung his arm around my shoulder and walked out of my hotel room.

When we got to the club that the boys were determined to have my party at, I was greeted by said boys hugging me tightly and yelling happy birthday.

"Alright, birthday girl still has to breathe!" I struggled.

"Sorry, babe." Ashton kissed my cheek, and I easily blushed, looking away.

As much as I don't want to admit it to Luke, Ashton and I have something. I find myself falling for him, but I'm still stuck on Luke. Ashton's been taking me on dates, and I've been so happy. I really like Ashton, I always have. I just never thought about it because of Luke, and what ever the hell is going on between us. Then again, I'm almost positive Luke doesn't feel the same, if he did he's taking a long time to admit it. It's been 3 years since I feel for the blonde boy in his front yard. 3 years of hiding my feelings, and him not giving any clue to his. We're both at fault, or maybe it's just me. I can't keep the smile off my face when I look at him and he's already looking at me. Now, right in front of him I'm falling for one of his best friends and I don't want to stop myself. If I've ever felt like a bitch in my life, now's the time, even though I have no real reason to.
