A/N: Hey guys! I'm going to try to update as frequently as I can considering this story has become so popular. I love this story so much and it makes me super happy that so many people have read this. Anyways, this takes place in early/mid-May again. I love you and thank you for reading

"I think we should go to homecoming." I randomly said to Luke as we played video games on my couch.

"What? Why?" Luke asked, pausing the game.

I shrugged, "I mean, it's our last year and I'm trying to make the most of it."

He sighed, grinning, "I'd do anything for you, beautiful."

I smiled, leaning into him, connecting our lips, "Thank you." I mumbled.

Luke took our controllers, turning off the game. He grabbed my hips, pulling me on top of him. Slowly, he left kisses along my neck and exposed shoulder.

I giggled, "Michael's upstairs, Luke."

He smiled against my neck, "Stay quiet then."

I rolled my eyes, reconnecting our lips. Soon, this turned into an overly heavy make out, considering how close my brother is.

"Hey, Lace?" Michael called from upstairs.

I groaned before quickly rolling off Luke, grabbing our controllers and turning back on the game.

"What's up, Mikey?" I yelled back as I heard him running down the stairs.

Michael came into the living room, plopping on the chair next to me, "I need your help with this maths assignment." He gave me his book and paper.

I laughed, pausing the game, "Michael, logarithmic functions are possibly the easiest thing ever."

"Well, you're a fucking genius, of course it's easy for you," Michael pointed to the paper, "This is the one I can't figure out."

(a/n: this is a word problem straight out of my precalc book ok)

I scanned over the problem, instantly knowing what to do, "Okay, so the pOH equals -log base 10 of 0.000000004, it simplifies to -log base 10 times the quantity 4 x 10 to the -9th power, then to -log base 10 of 4 plus log base 10 of 10 to the -9th power, which equals -log base 10 of 4 minus 9, giving you 9 minus log base 10 of 4, so your answer is..." I paused, attempting to do the math in my head, "About 8.4? Check it with the calculator."

Michael plugged the equation into the calculator, nodding his head, "Just about 8.4. How the hell do you do that?"

I shrugged, playing the game, "It's just really easy to me."

Luke kept smiling over at me, trying not to be obvious, "I know, she's a literal genius."

Michael glanced over at Luke, rolling his eyes, "Yeah, Luke, can we go talk in the kitchen?"

Luke froze, pausing the game again, "Sure."

*Luke POV*

I made my way in the kitchen behind Michael, shaking like crazy.

"Um," I shoved my hands in my pockets, "What's up, Mike?"

He turned to me, looking absolutely terrified, "Look, I know this is probably gonna be too much for you, and I was gonna ask Callie but I think Lace would be safer with you and I don't want her scared or hurt or-"

"Michael." I raised my eyebrows.

He looked at me with the same scared eyes, "I need Lacy to stay with you next week."
