Xiao came to school with a bored expression. He yawns and stretches his arms. He passes the hallways, not taking a glance at the students who where looking at him with sparkles in their eyes. Grabbing his phone out from his pocket, he decided to check if there are text messages from Chongyun.
He didn't notice that a person was running at his direction.
*thud* a loud sound then resonated in the whole area. Both Xiao and the unknown person are now on the hard ground. Xiao heard the other winced a bit. He gritted his teeth and rubbed his forehead that was slightly stinging in pain.
Wow, what a great way to start his morning.
"Shit! That hurts. Hello?! Are you blind or something-"
"I'm sorry-"
Both of them said at the same time. Then they opened their eyes, shock was then seen on their faces. They froze, not daring to move an inch. Awkward silence came in between them. The students who were passing by started to give weird stares at the both of them. The person who was still on the ground with Xiao was no other than their music professor, Venti.
The professor couldn't take the silence anymore and stood up immediately. He held his hand in front of the boy who was now staring intensely at his aqua green eyes. He feels his knees getting weaker.
Oh how he missed this feeling
He shrugs the thought off and then coughed a little. "I'm so sorry..I was such in a rush-"
"It's fine"
Venti was cut off. The boy in front of him then pulled his hand and stood up. Xiao then gave him a blank stare, no emotions were present on his face. "Next time, make sure to look where you're going......Sir. " He said blatantly. His voice was quite stern. Xiao turned around and walked away, leaving the professor alone with a sad expression plastered on his face.

Xingqiu excitedly entered the classroom. Once he saw his best friend, he immediately came up behind her.
"BOO!"
The girl's eyes widened and she bit her lip to prevent any sounds from going out of her mouth. She turned around and glared at the boy who was now laughing like a maniac.
"LMFAO YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN YOUR FACE"
"SHUT UP BRAT"
"OHH DID I SCARE YOU?"
"Not funny." Hu Tao scoffed and ignored him. She continues to write on her notebook. After a few seconds, Xingqiu finally stopped laughing. He glanced at Hu Tao who was still writing, he asks, "Do we have any assignments?" Not looking at the male beside her, she replied, "Yup, it's an essay for our science subject. Why? You didn't do yours?"
And that was when Xingqiu realised he forgot about the essay that was assigned to them yesterday. He cursed mentally for not paying attention.
"Fuck"
He heard Hu Tao snickered beside him. She had an evil grin.
"My my, I guess Mr. 'Oh Did I scare you' didn't payed attention."
"Hey Hey.. I'm sorry okay? But can you help me with the essay? I don't know the topic."
"Pretty Please?" He begged her with hope in his eyes. Hu Tao's grin disappeared and was replaced with a bored expression.
"No. Not my problem"
Xingqiu sighed in defeat and slumped back on his seat. Thinking about the assignment. Oh boy, he knows that if he doesn't get a good grade, His parents would surely kill him and would nag all day. He doesn't want to listen to all of their nagging because it's pretty annoying.
Their professor now entered and that means class is about to start.
He entered the classroom for his next subject, science. Damn he was nervous as hell. Hu Tao didn't even tell him about the topic. If you're wondering that he should've asked his other classmates... Well, he was sulking and over thinking that he didn't realised that he could've just asked them. Yeah, I know... It's pretty dumb..
Anyway, while he was going to his seat, he saw the weird guy that gave him an umbrella yesterday. He was sitting near the window at the far end of the classroom, next to him was a cute guy with golden eyes. Xingqiu knew him, the guy was no other than Xiao. Many boys and girls simp for him and plus, he's a smart student. Though his attitude is aggressive sometimes and he is a bit mysterious. But other than that, he's handsome too.
Xingqiu approached them, "Hi there! Ummm... We met yesterday, right? You're the one who gave me the navy blue umbrella. I'm sorry but I didn't get your name."
The light haired boy glanced at him, "Chongyun"
"Oh it's nice to meet you Chongyun, I-"
"Do you need something?" Xiao cut him off. His tone was a bit annoyed tho.
Xingqiu coughed, "Well I just need to talk privately with your friend."
Xiao looked at the boy beside him, he was concerned, "You guys close or something?"
"Uhh no no... like he said, we just met yesterday sooo.." Chongyun nervously replied.
"So is it okay with you if you talk with him?"
Chongyun nodded and softly smiled. Xiao let out a sigh and stood up. "Okay, I'll go and give you guys some privacy to talk." Xiao then turned to Xingqiu and sternly looked at him making the boy intimidated. Xiao glanced one last time at the both of them before slowly walking away.
