The whole car ride home, Soobin and Beomgyu kept snickering at the front seat. Y/N was cuddled with Yoongi and Jin in the backseat. She was fast asleep with Yoongi's head in her lap and arms hugging her waist. Jin was hugging her and sleeping too while her head rested on his shoulder. The scene was adorable. Too adorable. Y/N's cheeks squished on Jin's shoulder making it look like she was pouting. When the car came to a halt in front of the driveway, Y/N was shaken awake. Looking around her still a bit dazed she realized she reached home. "Soobin, you guys take the car home. Bring it back tomorrow to pick me up." She said. Soobin nodded and thanked her. By then Jin and Yoongi were awake. They got out of the car and entered the house. Y/N was scared. No. She was terrified. The entire house was silent. The rest of the hybrids were nowhere to be found. Namjoon and Hoseok were home because the university was closed for exams. Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin we're supposed to be home an hour before her from soccer practice. Taehyung especially should be home by now studying because he had a test next week. Considering how studious and serious the hybrids were about education, the fact that the house was empty was terrifying. Y/N looked around. She opened her office to find it empty. usually, Namjoon would be sitting there reading. The laptop she brought for them was left in her office. Hoseok or Jungkook would be hooked on it usually. She looked in the other rooms. The gym, and the bedrooms all we're empty. Opening her room, she was met with an adorable site. The hybrids were snuggled together on her bed hugging the pillows and duvets she had. "They missed your smell," Yoongi said. "That is the way we comfort ourselves when we miss our mate," said Jin. Y/N smiled. Bending down in front of Jimin she booked his nose. He scrunched it and slowly opened his eyes. "Y/N!!" He smiled groggily and hugged her. "I missed you soooooo much!" He said sniffing her. Suddenly he stiffened. "Yoongi hyung kissed you?!" He said waking the others up. "Shit!" Y/N thought.
Jimin was hugging her on one side and Yoongi on the other side, both the felines sending each other glares. Taehyung had managed to rest his head on Y/N's lap. Jungkook was whining on the floor in his panther form and Jin was giving Namjoon and Hoseok pointed looks because they told Y/N to make someone else her P.A. According to them, Jin was hogging her 80% of the time. Y/N was contemplating if she should leave everything and become a tree (my constant state of mind💀). "Jungkook stop!" Y/N said and shook Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung off of her. "All of you stop!" She said and stood up. "It was Yoongi's turn to spend his day with me. So tomorrow, It will be Jungkook, the day after Hoseok, then Namjoon, Taehyung and Jimin." She looked at everyone. "I want to get to know all of you. I want to fall in love. Not because we are mates, but because of who we are". There were some whines and protests but they agreed to the schedule.
After having dinner, Y/N was in the study, reviewing applications for the post of financial supervisor, all the applications were from company employees. There were some from outsiders. She was into her work deeply, when there was a knock on the door. " come in" she said without taking her eyes off. She heard the shuffling of feet and felt a pair of arms on her shoulder. "You should rest kitten. It isn't good to overwork" Yoongi said in his deep husky voice. "Yeah, I should," said Y/N sighing. "I am confused. Who do I select for the position of head of finances? All of them are long term employees. So was Chae Ri." Y/N sighed again. "I do not have experience in that, but back in the woods, when hoseok and I went to forage foods, we used to look at the behaviour of various animals from afar for a few hours to understand how to survive there and their intentions. We never attacked anyone, but there were predators other than us hybrids. So we had to see them and study them from afar to understand how to live there without getting on each other's nerves. I think you should do the same. Observe their work from afar first. Then make any decisions." He said. Y/N smiled. "Thanks, big kitty!" She said and hugged him. "Let's go to sleep," she said and pulled Yoongi with her. "I am not a kitty!" Yoongi complained pouting. "Sure you are!" Y/N said chuckling
The next morning, Y/N woke up with a sleepy Tiger cuddling her. She wasn't able to move, sliding under his arms she freed her upper body. Slowly moving his legs up, she slid her legs out. Releasing a breath, she tiptoed to the washroom. Finishing her morning routine, she put on a white button-up shirt with a floral neckline and a light blue A-line skirt. It was up to her knees. She chose some skin coloured pantyhose and paired them with a light blue stiletto. Curling the base of her hair, she left it open with a few bobby pins securing the baby hairs. Taking a large tote she put in her laptop and official documents and some other necessary knick-knacks. Quietly shutting the bedroom door she walked downstairs. There, on the sofa, sat Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin. The panther hybrid had a huge grin while the cat and the bear were pouting. Jin came out of the kitchen with a mug of cocoa and a huge tray of toast, eggs and bacon. "Breakfast!" She said to Y/N. Y/N smiled. "Thank you, sweety!" She told Jin. Sitting on the kitchen island, she dug into the food. Gobbling them up she finished the mug of cocoa. Washing her hands she was about to exit the washroom when Hoseok came bounding. "Y/N here!" He handed her a flask. "I made you hazelnut coffee for the office," he said with a grin that blinded her with the brightness. "Thank you bun! I love hazelnut coffee!" She said ruffling and scratching his bunny ears. He thumped his foot on the ground in happiness. Entering the car, she was about to tell Soobin to start it when there was a knock on the window. Lowering it, she found namjoon. "I made you lunch with Hoba. I hope you'd be hungry in the office. This has enough for Jungkook, Jin and Soobin and Beomgyu" he said shyly, forwarding a lunch box. Y/N looked at him stunned. Not only had the usually lazy wolf woken up early, but he also made her a lunch box. "Uhm, if you don't want it, it's okay," he said starting to retreat the box with a sad look. "No!" Said Y/N practically snatching it. "It's just, I was surprised. Nobody made me Bentos or lunch boxes since my parents, so, thank you Namjoon. Send my thanks to Hoseok" she said scratching his wolf ears. His ears flicked happily. "Have a nice day Y/Nie!" He said and bounded inside the house happily. Y/N smiled and asked Soobin to start the car. She turned to look at Jungkook and Jin and was surprised to see they had dumbfounded expressions. "Uhhh... What's wrong?" She asked. "Namjoon hyung. He never cooks. He is terrified of fire" said Namjoon. Y/N widened her eyes. "For me? He cooked despite his fears for me?" She thought. She knew for a fact she did not have an induction oven at home. She knew for a fact she had a stovetop oven. She was stunned. And felt somewhat proud, that someone would go to that extent for her.
