Y/N woke up slowly and tried to rub her eyes. Eyes? Why were they dark? 'Something is covering my eyes.' Y/N thought. She moved the thing and immediately something stood up. "Why did you pull my ears!" Hoseok whined. "Oh! I am sorry! They were covering my eyes. I wasn't sure what it was. Getting up she saw Jungkook cuddled to her left. She scratched his ears softly and he let out low rumbles. " Where are the others?" Y/N asked. Sleep laced in her voice. "Namjoon and Jin went to a place called Cafeteria with Beomgyu to bring food. Taehyung, Yoongi and Jimin are in Soobin's room." Jungkook said waking up. Y/N nodded and trudged towards the cabin. Opening the door softly she waved towards the people in there. "Hey. How are you holding up?" She asked Yeonjun "I-I am fine," he said. Another guy nudged him twice. "Hey, noon. Uhh. I am sorry for the way I behaved." Yeonjun said while brushing the tips of his tail. Y/N knew it was a feline trait of self-comfort. "It's alright. I know how you felt back then. Anyone would have reacted the same" Y/N said ruffling his ears. "Are you a cat hybrid?" She asked. Yeonjun furrowed his eyes. "No. I am a lynx!" He said with a pout. "Awe! It's okay big kitty!" Y/N said ruffling his ears. A white rabbit hybrid snickered from beside him. "Soobin calls him that too," he said. Yeonjun swatted at him.
"How is Soobin?" Y/N asked. "Well, the bullet did not do much damage. It hit his shoulder. So he has to wear a cast for a month. But the doctor gave him a sedative due to his blood loss. He needs rest" the bunny hybrid said. "Oh. That's a relief. By the way. What is your name? " Y/N asked. "I am Taehyun. Beomgyu's mate." The bunny said. "And that guy sleeping on the sofa is a red fox hybrid. He is Kai. He is my brother" Taehyun said. Y/N nodded. Beomgyu entered the room. He pulled Namjoon with him. "Hey Y/N you should go home and take a rest. You can come back tomorrow. He is out of danger doctors said" Beomgyu said. "I have some work before that," Y/N said with a stern cold face. "Can I get a change of clothes? For me and Jin." She said. Jin raised his eyebrows and pointed to himself. Y/N nodded. "I am sorry Jin. Can you come with me? I need to go somewhere to settle some things?" Y/N said. Jin nodded. "What things though?" He asked. "I need you to be my assistant and personal secretary for some time. " our apartment is near. We can get some clothes for you" Taehyun offered. "That would be a gracious offer, But I have to decline. I cannot put you in more danger. Please stay in the hospital." Y/N said.
Sitting in the cab, Y/N studied her nerves. She was going to the house, which still haunted her nightmares. The sun was beginning to rise and the sky was a mix of pink and purple hues. The wind was chilly but it calmed the nerves. Y/N was never a morning person, but to be in a better place, to be someone with a better life, you have to sacrifice things you love. The moment they can stop in front of house no: 4406 all the calm nerves were back to being a ball of panic. Studying her breathing, Y/N grasped Jin's hands. Jin looked at her shocked, but then grasped her hand with a comforting squeeze. Paying the cab, Y/N exited and fished out the keys for the residence. Taking bold steps, grasping Jin's hands, Y/N marched to the house. She had planned on selling the house and the process was on the way, but it still had some stuff to be moved. She would have to give Mingyu a call after all this is settled. Opening the main door, she took a deep breath, Not looking anywhere she pulled Jin straight to a room next to the foyer stairs. Fishing out some dresses she found a set of suits and ties from her father and handed them to Jin. " Here, Change into this. Would you like a bath?" She asked. "Uhh, no. It's okay. I'll have a bath back home" he said. Y/N smiled and nodded. "Take the room in the front. Change there" she said. Jin nodded and went to get changed. Y/N fished a set of Pencil skirts and a button-up blouse with black heels which belonged to her elder sister. Touching it longingly she left a sigh. Wearing the clothes, she started to fix her hair. Going to the adjacent washroom, she washed her hands and face. Applying night makeup she exited the room. Jin was already waiting for her. She motioned him to follow her. Entering her father's office, she opened a drawer and brought a coat brooch out. "This has a hidden camera and a microphone. I'll attach it to your tie. Try to keep it inconspicuous." She said. "But why?" Jin asked. "I'll tell you everything at home," Y/N said. Jin nodded. Y/N changed the battery in the brooch and fixed it to Jin's necktie. "What will this do?" Jin asked. "It will record everything and we can see and hear them later," Y/N said. Then she picked up a chain and wore it. Closing the drawer she fished out a key from the table. Opening a locker she brought two files. "My dad had a copy of the will here at his home with all of its parts. I know that attorney is up to no good. There is something fishy about him. So I kept this a secret. He always kept a duplicate copy of all documents official or not at home." Y/N said. "How do you know he is up to no good?" Jin asked. "Only him and I know of the bodyguard's arrangement. It hasn't even been 24 hours. How did the attacker know there was someone in the house? All of you never stepped a foot outside. You are not loud. You all either sleep or talk among yourselves. The attacker could have easily broken in to kill me. They knew I had bodyguards. That is why they opted for a sniper" Y/N said. Jin's eyes widened. "So they know about us?" He asked. Y/N nodded. "I think so. That is what I am gonna do what I am about to do. After all, killing the CEO of an enterprise is not easy". Y/N said with a wink.
Their conversation was cut short by a car honking from outside. Y/N and Jin closed up and went outside. A girl popped open the window and yelled, " beep beep bitch! Get in now!" Y/N smiled. "Yumi you absolute maniac! What are you doing here?"
"A little birdie at the hospital told me your plan! Get in hoe!" Yumi yelled and opened the door.

"We have eyes on the girl. Permission to shoot?"
"Permission Granted"

My right shoulder is dislocated and I am in agonising pain. I wish like in the movies people would pop the shoulder back and stuff would be all good in the hood.
Never knew the pain would be this bad even after popping the joint back. Also. Talking about popping back the joint...
