Len's P.O.V.

I watched Leon's persistence at asking [_____] out. Each time, she would tell him to back off. I watched it progress from a kind "No thank you, please leave me alone." to "Go fuck yourself!". Anytime Leon would harass her, the girls would defend [_____] and hit him to my satisfaction. The audacity to continue hitting on her despite her memory loss was astounding. It's not like she'd continuously forget, her life just blanked. She knew words and definitions, she didn't remember anybody at all... not even her family. But on the other hand, she couldn't recall turning points in her life either or her name.

As I was watching this unfold from afar, Gumi tapped my shoulder, "Hey, you doing okay? I've got something to talk to you about. It's not good."

I couldn't tear my eyes away from [_____] holding back the other girls from beating the crap out of Leon for the third time today, but I flicked my wrist for her to lead me. She impatiently tugged me by my ear out to the living room. The TV was on the local news channel.

"We're all over the damn news! They're reporting us as missing!" Gumi muttered through gritted teeth.

"Okay, calm down. I had our contacts fake a search, we're in a nice secluded area. It would have been easier if we could resurface, but since the attack, most of us have to remain hidden. But the most pressing part to all of this is that we have to find a way to get [_____]'s memories back before anything else happens." I explained. Gumi seemed despondent, but she nodded slowly and turned back to the TV.

"Three middle school teachers have gone missing along with six students. The missing teachers have been identified as Meiko Sakane, Gakupo Kamui and Teto Kasane; they have not turned up; not even a trace of them..."

I lowered the volume in case anyone was wandering around and turned to face Gumi as our names popped up on the screen, "Please, if you have any information—any at all—please come to us to help these families.

And now, a few words with the members missing their loved ones."

I slightly jumped at [_____]'s aunt's voice, "Please, wherever you are [_____], know that we will always love you! We're not giving up!"

This guilt and shame ate at me. Her aunt and uncle were so distressed and it's not like I could just take [_____] back home without any of her memories. I had hoped and prayed that something would happen by chance or miracle, but every day was redundant and she lived these past few days ever so carefree. The peacefulness of her facade was enough to fool anyone, but you could hear her crying at night—frustrated with why she couldn't remember anything that happened previously. She would get mad and cry herself to sleep and hardly anyone would suspect a thing. I always took the first shift when it came to watching her door and I could always hear her cry herself to sleep. Everyone else had bunked with others or left.

Although other family members were pleading for their family members to return, I droned them all out. I was too wrapped up in my thoughts like usual. Gumi shut the TV off and glared at me.

"We have to show ourselves, Len. We've been hiding for a week. This will be our second week—"

"I know! Take a moment to breathe or else you'll explode."

"Everything is literally crumbling in front of us!" Gumi exploded. Just as she flipped out, [_____] walked in with a worried expression. I blatantly told her Gumi lost a bet and she nodded and went on her merry way without question. God did it hurt having to dance around situations especially when it came to her.

I was so impulsive and I didn't plan anything thoroughly. Keeping [_____] locked away wasn't helping and I knew we had to do something about all of this.

Miki's P.O.V.

Wow, it's been hectic at the base. I'm having to come by more and more often. Most of our members are here, and [_____] still hadn't shown any signs of recovering her memory.

"Maybe we have to fake it?" I whispered to myself and that's when the light bulb in my brain lit up, "Boss! I have an idea!"

Len was standing in front of me with such a sad face. Poor kid... everything going on must have been swallowing him to the depths of hell.

"About what, Miki?"

His voice was monotonous as though he hadn't slept in months though it had only been a few days. I knew he was up all night worrying and the cycle would continue. Unsurprising, though upsetting. The kid's always felt dead.

"This is going to sound dumb, but listen, okay? I have a possible solution to bring back [_____]'s memories."

"Well, spill it!"

"I won't be simple, but she needs things and people she knows. She needs to see them, touch them."

"Wait a minute! She should still have her house key. If we could sneak in from the back... Miki, you're brilliant!" Len cried. He gave me a quick squeeze and ran off to his room. I laughed and silently hoped it would work. The idea was farfetched, but by this point, we'd need all ideas laid out because nothing had been proposed.

Len's P.O.V.

I called for a group discussion the next morning. Mostly everyone gathered in the living room, either gnawing on bacon or half-asleep. We purposely excluded [_____] and Rin so that [_____] wouldn't find out about any of this. After all, this was for her safety, and Rin was there to keep her company. I promised to explain to Rin later, but first, we'd have to trick [_____] into finding the key. Hopefully it's still on her...

"Okay, so who wasn't reported missing?"

"Miki, Ia, Piko... Who else?" Miku pipped.

"That leaves us with such a narrow percentage... Piko and Ia, I'm gonna need you both to dress up as girls. Pretty ones, in fact!"

"What?" the two asked in befuddled unison. Ia's jaw dropped in disbelief and Piko dropped his phone.

"Bitch, I am a girl and I am beyond pretty—I'm gorgeous." Ia scowled at me.

"Oh great, now I have to be pretty? I always thought the cute and meek one would win but noooo I have to be "pretty" to live up to your standards, hmm?" Piko glared.

The conversation turned to a whole new direction and I had to get us back on track. "Listen up! I have made a small plan and I'm betting my life that this works.

I need to know if [_____] has her house key. If she does, it's easy to enter the house through the backdoor. The day we left, she left her window unlocked but there's no telling if her guardians closed and locked it, so our best bet would be the house key. That's our main priority for now.

When we do have her key, Piko and Ia will go up front and cause a distraction in costumes to alter their looks a bit. I don't want any suspicions on either of us. Pretend to sell a product or that you're looking for the next model—I don't care what it is so long as they're occupied.

Afterwards, [_____] and I will sneak into her house. There are hundreds of family photos and stuff, so maybe just maybe her memory will flood right though."

The gang looked a little hesitant, but we had no options and there didn't seem to be a better way.

"Wait, why don't you just do it at night?" Meiko inquired. That was a good question, but Yuuma was a night owl. The chances of us running into him inside the house at night were so much higher than during the day. Her uncle would be at work, Yuuma skipping class with Kaito, and her aunt would be the only one to answer the door.

"Her cousin's usually active at night. Her aunt is usually home all day, but at least her uncle works. We'd need to go in the middle of plain day or else none of this would flow."

I could tell they were beyond skeptical about any of this working, but I had to hold on to some belief. This was going to work. It had to.
