A/N: Sorry it's been a bit guys, took a bit of time off but hopefully won't need to do that for a while. Also, some of these chapters will be on mobile so if there's any mistakes please point them out so I can fix them :) and lastly, there's quite a few time skips in this chapter because the episode mostly focuses on Jaune so (Y/N) doesn't have a whole lot to do. thanks for reading!

(Y/N) POV:
"I know it's a lot easier to train an animal than a human." Cardin said after Dr. Oobleck asked for his input.

"Can I shoot him again?" I leaned over and whispered to Yang as Pyyrha and Blake retorted to Cardin.

"As much as I want to say yes, it probably wouldn't be a good idea." She whispered back snickering.

"Since when were you the responsible one?" I asked smiling at her.

"Shut it, shy guy." She answered.

"Well that's rude." I couldn't keep a straight face for very long and we started laughing. Good thing class was over, I don't think Oobleck would appreciate the interruption.

"Ready for the field trip tomorrow?" She asked looking at me.

"I have absolutely no idea. Never been on one before, hell, I've never even been out of Vale before." Suddenly there was a smack to the back of my head.

"Language!" Ruby said.

"Sorry, Rubes." I said rubbing the back of my head. Yang was giggling at me. "I gotta go study, meet you all at the dorm later."

"Why do you study all the time? It's so boring." Ruby said. "We should go train instead."

"Sorry guys, I never got to go to school growing up so I have a lot to catch up on. Luckily Weiss and Blake are helping me with a study plan." The two looked a bit down at that. "I'll train with you guys later, I really need to catch up, I'm sorry."

"It's okay, we understand. " Ruby said half heartedly.

"Alright, see ya" I said waving back at the two, heading to the library.

"Hey guys." I walked into the library.

"Hey (Y/N)." Blake said.

"Hello." Weiss said with a smile that quickly turn into a scowl. "You're late."

"Hehe...sorry." I said not wanting to be on her bad side.

"It's fine. Now let's get started."

*back with Ruby and Yang 3rd POV*

"I feel bad for him." Ruby started.

"Why?" Yang asked. "He needs the study more than the training."

"I know, but he said tomorrow is the only day he has free from studying. That means he has to study all weekend. We were all supposed to go see the festival."

"I know it sucks Ruby, but he's just trying to be the best he can be. Besides, we could probably get Weiss and Blake to let him off to come with us."

Ruby perked up at that. "Yeah, you're right."

(Y/N) POV at the forest:

"Whoooaaa..." that was all I could say. I've never seen anything so....red.

"Yes, students, the forest of forever fall is indeed beautiful. However, Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so. This forest is full of the creatures of Grimm. So make sure to stay with your teammates. You may go." She said as she turned to face us.
