Eira was confident that the next few days would pass peacefully, especially after the hunters' failed attack on Dragon's Edge. However, the gods had decided to play a trick on her. From the moment she opened her eyes, she knew something was wrong. It wasn't the storm that had kept her awake for most of the night. It was a kind of premonition that she sometimes had. She decided to ignore it, though. She wore the new black tunic she had bought from Johann a few days earlier. She fastened the dusty corset, the belt and the new epaulettes and breastplates. She combed her hair, which was not an easy task, and put it up in one long braid. When she decided that she was ready for the new day, she left her hut and entered the club.

As soon as she crossed the threshold, she found out quite quickly why this day seemed different to her. Just today, the twins had their favorite holiday. The whole day was dedicated to their favorite god, Loki. This involved countless jokes that the twins thought were hilarious. Of course, most of the time it was just for them. Eira on the other hand unlike the other riders felt safe. A few years ago, as revenge for blowing up her studio, she had showered the twins with a powder that made them all itchy. They had begged her for a cure all day, until they promised never to play a prank on her again at Loki's feast. So far they had kept their promise.

The day passed peacefully until Fishlegs started telling about the monster that attacked him. Most didn't believe him, they thought it was his way of playing a joke on them. Eira, on the other hand, was interested. She knew how much Fishlegs disliked the holiday, especially when the twins played their pranks. When they were alone in the club, she approached the young Viking and his dragon.

- Do you remember where that monster attacked you? If you want, we can fly there together.

- Don't you think this is a joke? - Fishlegs looked at her expectantly.

- We both know you hate this holiday. Now come on, before the twins come back here.

They flew to the bay where Fishlegs had seen the monster. They took a fish with them as bait. After a few hours, when they were about to give up, something pulled them underwater. Eira couldn't see much, but she was sure Fishlegs wasn't kidding. Especially after the mysterious monster electrocuted her. Wet but happy they flew to Meatlug, the base, as quickly as possible. Eira managed to convince everyone that Fishlegs wasn't lying about the existence of the monster, which could be a new species of dragon.

- The last time I saw the creature, for the deepest part of the cove. - Eira flew along with her brother. Hiccup proposed to her to find a new dragon. She answered him that if she met a dragon with whom she felt this thing, she would be sure to tell him.

- Is it more like a giant fish? Or a big snake? - Astrid was interested in what Fishlegs had found together with Eira. Especially after she saw them returning to the base, completely soaked.

- I don't know, it was hard to tell from underwater. Everything looked kind of fuzzy and misshapen.

- It's definitely long and fast. Be careful because it can be dangerous. - Eira looked uncertainly at the surface of the water.

Snotlout had been quite sceptical the whole time. Until the monster jumped out of the water and hurt him and Hookfang.

- That's... Taht's not a creature at all. - Fishlegs was delighted.

- It's a dragon. - Hiccup couldn't hide his surprise. It was the first time he'd ever seen anything like it.

- And not just any dragon. It's a Seashocker!

They landed on the beach to get a better look at the newfound dragon species. Along with Hiccup, Fishlegs flew down to measure and get to know the dragon. Eira decided to stay on the beach. After some time, they all decided that the dragon should be released. Its natural habitat was the deep sea. Being so close to the surface made the dragon nervous, plus there was nothing to feed it. However, before the dragon had time to return to freedom, the Scauldrons appeared. They were the Seashocker's natural enemy and a serious threat. Continuing to stand on the beach, Eira watched as the rest of the team tried to help the young dragon. She wasn't too surprised when the twins flew over, dragging a huge electric eel behind them. The Scauldrons at one point let go and swam away. The young Seashocker was free and could calmly return to the rest of the herd.
