When Eira finally got a new saddle for Stormripper, she was able to help the gang do what they did best, which was to make the lives of dragon hunters as unpleasant as possible. It had been several weeks since the last time she had seen Leif. The necklace she hadn't taken off since that day reminded her of him every now and then, just as he had said. It made an occasional blissful smile appear on her face. She thought she was covering it quite well, but she underestimated the twins. One evening the whole group stopped her in her club. It wasn't that they were worried, but it was easy to see what a good mood Eira had been in for the past few weeks.

At first, she tried to dismiss them by saying that they were imagining strange things and that she was in a good mood all the time. However, seeing the way they were looking at her, she knew they weren't buying it.

- Eira, we just want to know if you are okay. If it's something good, then I don't understand why you're hiding it from us. - She sometimes grew impatient with the way her brother was able to get her to do something. She squirmed a little in her chair before deciding to tell the truth.

- When I was looking for saddle material for Stormripper, I met someone. - she blushed, hearing the surprised sigh. Astrid and Ruffnut came to her aid.

- Okay guys, this is a girl topic. - They took Eira back to her hut. As soon as the door closed behind them, both girls smiled slyly at her.

- Tell me, is he handsome?

- Astrid! - Eira felt her cheeks burning. Ruffnut seeing this began to laugh.

- So very handsome. Do you know anything else about him? - They sat down comfortably on furs near the fireplace.

- He is tall, has dark hair, and when he smiles it is like your knees soften. - she blushed more. - He said his name was Leif.

- How did you two meet? It was at Northen Markets, wasn't it?

- Mhm, I thought it was another one, well you know the type of people who usually come there. - She told them how they met. She kept silent about the part where she tried to hide from the dragon hunters. She also showed them up close her new necklace that Leif bought her.

- Wow, Eira liked a guy she knows one day.

- At least I'm not slumming for my little brother like some people do. - She poked Astrid with her elbow.

- Mmmm, just don't tell Snotlout, the poor guy will crack up. - Eira snorted, amused.

- I admire his determination, even though it's annoying at times.

They talked for quite a long time, especially when the topic came down to how infatuated Astrid was with Hiccup. Eira had no problem with that, as she also admitted, her little brother needs a strong and responsible woman. Slowly, the conversation returned to the subject of Leif.

- Do you think you will meet him again? - Ruffnut asked after they had stopped laughing at the joke Astrid had told.

- I hope so. - She put her hand on the pendant with a dreamy expression on her face. - Although, I'm not sure about that. I only know his name and what he looks like. Damn, I don't even know what kind of job he has. What if he's not a good guy? Maybe he's a smuggler, or even worse, a dragon hunter?

- Eira, calm down. You can't assume the worst right away, you know? - Astrid looked at Ruffnut suggestively.

- Astrid's right, although imagine that forbidden romance with a dragon hunter, ha! Hiccup would probably kill you if you dated our enemy. - Eira hung her head.

- Ruffnut, you were supposed to help. Look what you've done! - Astrid got up and walked closer to Eira.

- Astrid, I know what you want to do, but Ruffnut is right. What if Leif is a dragon hunter?
