Chapter 8

I sleep through sunday because Lee is stuck in my head and he wont get out and the only way to get him out is to sleep but now he's even coming in my dreams.

"Melissa wake up wake up" and I see Lee laying on my bed with me. " Lee?"

"I needed to see you." I'm so confused. Why is he in my house. "Why?"

"Because I haven't seen you all week." He says.

"I miss you." I say. He reaches down grabs my face and he kisses me and I'm grabbing handfuls of hair. He feels so good on me I want him now.

"Wake up now."

"Let me finish." I say.

"Fine don't go to school." My mom says. I wake up and realize that was a dream. Melissa stop. You don't know this kid. I get dress and I'm already in a pissy mood because of the dream.. Later on in school I get to science but grace isn't here today and I just hang with Michelle she doesn't really bring up Lee so I keep quiet about him. After science I was really excited to see Lee but of course I don't see him. I know he's at school he's just ignoring me. I walk to Spanish and see Francis talking to Nicole so I just seat down. I actually liked this class Today because the teacher didn't yell at me. After class I see Grace.

"Hey what are you doing?" I say.

"Signing up for dance class. Oh my gosh. You should too!"

"Really? And why wasn't you in class today?"

"Because I had an orthodontist appointment." I sign up and I love to dance so maybe I'll really enjoy it.

"Since you signed up all your classes are gonna change around." Grace says.

"That's fine as long as I still have science with you." As I walk to lunch I still don't see Lee, so he has to be dead or something. He's no where near and I'm dying. I finish the day, and it went by so slow and it was so tiring. I got plenty of sleep the day before so I shouldn't be tired. When I get on the bus I ignore all the comments the kids in the back usually make to me and find my seat.

''Hey You, you look like Trash today.'' A girl that's a junior says. I ignore her, but someone reason she hates me so much and I have done absoulety nothing to her. Well actually I tripped her on the bus once, and cussed her out, and I do dress better so maybe she's jealous. I ignore her and then she leaves me alone. My bus ride is too long but I get home. I see Donalds van and he's in the living room smoking and playing xbox. I walk past him without saying a word and of course he says something to me.

"Hey wipe that look off your face and go clean my room.'' And of course I do. Everyone in this house is a mess and I end up cleaning after everyone, but I'm also tired of complaining. That night I take my shower and get ready for bed. As I get in the bathroom and I drop my phone in the toilet and it stops working. Gosh Damnit. Why does all the bad things happen to me but I always follow the rules and I never do anything bad but I lay my phone down to dry but it doesn't turn on. I throw a little fit but calm down and lay in my bed. I fall asleep instantly and dream of him. Chasing me in a field with an old blue truck with blankets in the back. When I wake up I beg it's not a dream but it is and I get dress and I decide to wear the new skirt I got at the mall. And I actually look cute. I do all the stuff I normally do and my grandmas arrives at my house to pick me up and we head off to school. When I get there I see grace.

"oh hey Mel I got my new schedule."

"How? I need mine?" Go into the office there on the front desk with your names on them." Grace says. As I walk into the office I search for mine and see it.

"I have Dance class first, theater second, English third, Math fourth, social studies fifth, science sixth, and Spanish I last."

"Yayy we have dance, theater and science together! Grace says.

"About that.. Last night my phone fell into the toilet so I can't right now."

"Do you have your tablet?" She says.

"Yeah?"

"Okay then, use that."

"Alright." As I walk into Dance class I notice some weird people but a girl just sitting down on her phone.

"Hey my names Melissa but people call me Mel."

"Hey I'm Mackenzie but people call me Mak."

"Hey Mak."

"Hey Mel."

"Can you dance?" She asks.

"I'm not horrible but I'm not good."

"I'm alright I guess. Come sit beside me." She says. As we get threw class we do nothing but talk. I tell her about Lee and she thinks I'm absolutely crazy. But she tells me about her life and how she likes this guy but she's afraid too. Grace is on the other side of the room talking to some blonde so I leave her be.

"Worst comes the worst he dies." I say and she laughs. Its obvious she knows I'm funny because she practically laughs at everything I say. The bell rings and dismisses us to the next class. Me and Mak walk with Grace to theater and mak leaves and goes to her next class math. It seems like Mak and Grace already know each other so I don't give them an introduction. When we get to theater it's not as crazy as our last class and I like it. We sit down and then Maria walks in.

"Sorry. I couldn't stand my last class without you guys so I switched." Maria says.

"Good this class is too quiet." Grace says.

"Why did y'all switch classes anyway?"

"Because we needed a dance credit and they switched all of our classes around."

"Oh and Mel you look cute today." Maria says.

"Thank you!" This class is usually the fastest to go by because its so easy and we really don't do anything in it. When the bell rings I go to my third period and William is in there. 

"What are you doing in here?" I say.

"I'd say the same question." He says.

"Well Maria switched her classes and now she has a different lunch and we needed the same lunch so I switched with her."

"Oh okay." Then his mouth drops and as I turn around I see Ann.

"What are you doing in here?" He says.

"I have this class."

"Yay he says." I can't really tell if he likes her but they flirt threw the whole class and I hate it. It reminds me of Lee and I don't have him... That class felt like the longest in the world and I get to fourth which is math and I have it with my friend Hannah and Clayton. He smiles at me and gives me a look which I know he had to tell Lee about the lock screen I just know. After that class we head to lunch and it goes by fast. After lunch I had social studies and luckily I still had it with Maria and Michelle. But we take a test which is a bore.

"I saw Lee today." Maria says.

"Cool." I say.

"I think you liked him?"

"lol. No. I don't know the kid."

"The bell rings and I run out of class and head up the stairs to science and then I see him he stares at me head to toe and I blush so hard.
