Mabilis na tumayo at sinalubong ako ni Dylan ng makapasok ako sa office ni Tito.
"How's my baby?" That's the first thing he asks while hugging me and hinalikan ako sa noo.
"Why you're here?" nagtataka 'kong tanong.
It's 7:30 supposed to be, he should be in his company. Pero andito siya ngayon at naka casual outfit na parang kakabangon lang sa kama.
"Looking for my runaway Wife." Sambit nito na parang nagbibiro. Inanyayahan naman na akong umupo nito sa may living room ng office ni Tito.
"Did you just remove me from my surgeries?" Agad 'kong tanong kay Tito.
He heaved a sigh. "Rest Alaina, you need that." He calmly said.
Sumandal naman ako kung saan nakaakbay sa akin si Dylan habang prenteng nakaupo. "I don't need rest." I replied.
"You need rest." mariin nitong pagpipilit.
"I can do it! I won't kill anyone!" medyo tumataas na ang boses 'ko dahil sa inis. Ang hirap sa kanya ipaintindi na kaya 'ko naman.
"Tito." Dylan said that made Tito shake his head, like he was not in favor.
"I told you she needs a doctor." Sambit nito kay Dylan.
Me? Need a doctor?!
"I'm a freaking doctor!'' I said while anger is evident in my voice.
"Wife, calm down." Dylan told me that made me look at him.
"How could I? They're doubting my credibility in a fucking operation room when I am a fucking surgeon!" I can help but burst out in anger.
Surgery is what I love the most.
I know they love me but I don't need no one's help. I can manage like what I always need to do.
