Crossy Road has made a lot of friends throughout it's journey of fame. Crossy Road has been featured in a few games, so in return, they decided to feature in a few of their friends. This category of characters probably has the most diverse terrains, more than any other category in Crossy Road. 17 of these characters are unlockable with the prize machine, and 2 of these characters are secret. This is a rundown of each friend of Crossy Road.
Flat Eric is a puppet character created by the French DJ and filmmaker Mr. Oizo (whose real name is Quentin Dupieux). The design of Flat Eric is identical as in real life, except that he now has headphones on. As Flat Eric traverses the terrain, the song, "End of the World" by Mr. Oizo ft. Skrillex, is playing in the background 24/7. The terrain for Flat Eric is the same as all of the OG characters, but EVERYTHING in it; the cars, trains, trees, boulders, etc (except the rivers) are slightly swaying to the beat of "End of the World". Also, with each step, music notes emit out of Flat Eric's headphones. When Flat Eric dies, he makes no sound, however, more music notes emit when he dies, than when he traverses. This character is not a secret character, nor is he a character found in mystery boxes. This character can be unlocked from the prize machine.
The Forget-Me-Not is from the Australian indie game Forget-Me-Not, developed by Brian Williamson, under the name Nyarlu Labs. The game's been removed from and since restored back to the App Store. The design of the Forget-Me-Not is a big white cube, with two black dots close to the edge, presumably eyes.
As the Forget-Me-Not traverses the terrain, it makes electric beep-bloop sounds. Also, you are able to pick up purplish-pink flowers (that look like a mix of hashtags and plastic puzzle pieces). After you've picked up about ten (10) of them, the screen starts to flash after picking each one up thereafter, and will also produce a weird buzzing noise. After picking up more than twenty (20) of them, it will produce a weird sound that sounds like a zap, and a ghost will stay on the screen until death, usually hovering towards the top of the screen. After you pick up thirty (30) of these little flowers, a bright yellow flash with a strange sound appears. To be honest, the ghost hinders the player's sight a little, but then again, the ghost is intended to cause distraction:
