"Hi guys" Carolyn and Christopher walked inside

"Hi mom, hi dad" Derek sighed and hugged them

"Is everything okay, honey?" Carolyn frowned

"Yeah. Just a rough morning" Derek faked a smile

"Can we do anything?"

"Would you mind checking on the girls? I'm going back to Meredith" Derek asked his parents

Meredith was doing okay during the night but when she woke up her body was aching. So Derek offered her a warm bath

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Derek walked back in and kneeled down, feeling Meredith lean against his body

"Doing better" She breathed

"Mom and dad are here. Addie and Mark must be on their way" Derek kissed her temples

"I can't believe they invited us" Meredith laughed

"I can't imagine what they wanna tell us" Derek kissed her forehead

"Hmm.." Meredith leaned into Derek's touch

"Let's get you out of the tub" Derek lifted Meredith in his arms and carried her to their bed where a bunch of warm towels were waiting for her

"So cold" She shivered

"I know, Mer. We really should move out of Seattle" Derek sighed

"Only if everyone would move with us" Meredith giggled as Derek tried to warm her up "Just kidnap them all" She whispered

"I'd do anything for you" He winked and tried to rub her body to warm her up

"Aww" She winced as Derek rubbed her shoulder "Not so hard" She chuckled and rested her head on his chest

"I'm sorry" He breathed and held her before he helped her get dressed

"Let's go see them" She breathed but didn't wanna stand on her legs, sometimes they felt so weak. Her body was aching so bad today but she didn't wanna complain as they had news to tell and she didn't wanna be a party pooper

"Careful" Derek helped her walk and noticed she was mostly relying on him to walk towards their living room

"Hi guys" Christopher smiled and went to hug his daughter

"Hi dad. Hi mom" Meredith forced a smile but was desperate to sit down

"Let's wait on the couch until they're here" Derek noticed Meredith couldn't properly stand up anymore

"Where are the girls?" She asked her husband

"I'll go get them" He kissed her lips and stood up

"I'm curious to see what news they have" Carolyn smiled and placed her hand over Meredith's

"I have no idea" Meredith quietly said

"Maybe Mark finally got that dog he wanted" Derek chuckled as he returned with Ava and Emma who immediately went over to their grandparents to give them a hug

"Oh, they're here!" Ava smiled and went to open the front door

"Hey guys!" Addison and Mark walked inside

"Hi" Everyone smiled

"Tell us the news" Carolyn smiled

"Mark and I-" Addison started but didn't say the answer right away "We're Expecting a baby" She smiled

"You gotta be kidding me?" Derek gasped

"Cool!" Ava and Emma smiled

"That's amazing!" Meredith breathed as she saw everyone hugging, she wanted to join but there was no way she could make it up there. Addison must have noticed and came to Meredith to hug "Congrats. You two are gonna be such good parents"

"Thanks, Mer" Addison hugged her sister "How have you been?"

"I'm okay" Meredith lied and Mark walked over "Congrats Markie"

"Thanks. Our first baby" He smiled

"Does Amelia know already?" Christopher asked

"We called her earlier today. She was with Kai, they were exploring Minnesota" Addison explained

"How far along are you, dear?" Carolyn asked

"Two months and a half. We wanted to wait until three months because of the risks but we couldn't wait to tell our family" She giggled as Mark placed his hand on her stomach

"And because I have to beat my brother, maybe it's triplets" Mark laughed

"Beat me? With my girls?" Derek pretended to be hurt "Goodluck" Derek laughed

"You told us we had to keep the whole day free?" Christopher asked

"Because we have a surprise, we prepared everything to throw a small party with a nice barbeque and some drinks. The girls can play in the pool if they want" Mark explained

"At yours?" Derek asked

"We can move it here if you want?" Addison then suggested

"No, please. We'll be just fine, we're coming to your house" Meredith insisted

Derek sighed and packed all their stuff such as a bag filled with Meredith's feedings, her meds and stuff like that

"Can I help, dear?" His mother asked him as she followed him to his bedroom

"Would you mind grabbing a pair of fresh sweats for her?" Derek asked

"Of course, son" Carolyn grabbed Meredith's yellow sweats and gave them to her son "How have you two been doing?"

"We've been great. Last week we spend the whole evening watching the stars" He smiled

"That's nice to hear. And I'm glad that she was able to stay up" Carolyn rubbed her son's back

"She pushed herself too hard" His smile turned into a frown "It took her two days to return back to normal but I think she really enjoyed it. We talked about so many things and the only thing I could think off when I went to bed was of how proud I am of her, of my family" Derek breathed

"Come on, only happy thoughts" Carolyn grabbed his hand and they walked back to the living room where Meredith was half asleep in Mark's arms

"Maybe we should wait a little before we leave so you can take another nap" Mark suggested

"No. Your party" Meredith mumbled

"Or you guys can go and I'll be there later with Mer" Derek suggested

"Would you guys mind?" Mark asked as he rubbed his fingers through his sister's hair

"Of course not, you should go and celebrate" Derek scooped up Meredith in his arms

"We'll go make sure everything's ready by the time you two come over" Addison rubbed Derek's back and kissed Meredith's head, only to see she had fallen asleep already

"See you in a bit" Derek forced a smile and watched everyone walk out, Emma frowning slightly as if she wanted to ask to stay with them but she also wanted to enjoy Addison and Mark's party "It's okay, Em. Mom and I will be there in a bit, just have fun" 

Im a bit bored lately writing so I'd like to hear some ideas for new story ideas (can be a complete new story!) that maybe motivates me again!!

I had some requests for the ambulance crash but what kind of setting should I do it and what kind of injuries,..?
