Throughout the whole of Saturday evening I could not stop thinking about how hard so was on Jamie. He was just meeting a friend right? There was no harm done, so why should I get all worked up about it? But for some reason, a voice at the back of my head kept telling me that there was more to it. I ignored it and carried on my day as usual. Mum announced over breakfast on Sunday that the Howards (Ollie's family) were coming round for lunch. I immediately got excited. A day with Ollie! Wait, this is wrong. Very wrong. Why am I feeling so excited over another boy??!

I was wearing a denim skater skirt, white lace top and my white converse (again) and pacing up and down the hall trying to think of something to do before they came. In the end I decided on playing FIFA 15 in the living room. Mum was still getting ready, Freddie was playing with Spencer in the garden and Dad was reading the newspaper at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. I turned on the Xbox and continued with my career as Lampard when the doorbell rang. Before I could get up mum ran down the stairs to open it, greeting the guests as she did. Dad then came in and did the same, closely followed by Freddie and Spencer. Luckily they all liked dogs, so we didn't have to shut him in the garden. I heard them all go into the kitchen diner, except for Ollie who was told by mum that I was in the living room. Straight away Freddie and Thomas, Ollie's brother, ran upstairs to play. It turns out that there is a school year difference between their ages, but only about four months realistically. Ollie poked his head around the door, and once realising I was there, came in and sat down.
"Ooh, FIFA! I love this!" He grinned.
"Oh, here's the controller," I smiled, passing it to him. He smiled back and our eyes met. We stared into each other's eyes for several seconds. It sounds cheesy but it was so romantic. My palms were getting sweaty and my heart was practically thumping out of my chest. Ollie quickly glanced away, awkwardly looking around the room. I selected the quick play version and we continuously played matches until mum called us for dinner. We sat down and began the amazing food. It was roast beef with all the trimmings! After dessert (sticky toffee pudding😋) Ollie and I excused ourselves and decided to go into the garden. I sat on the swing and he sat on the one next to me.
"So tomorrow I'm starting at your school, and I was wondering if you could kind of help me find my way around for the first few days?"
"Yeah, of course. Do you know what form you will be in?"
"I think my mum told me I was in 10T..."
"Oh, that's my form!"
"Oh great! I'm stuck with you?" He said, before a really cute grin burst out on his face. "Just joking, I would love to be with you."

Monday. Great. The day to confront Jamie. I was downstairs watching TV when there was a knock at the the front door. Ollie! I ran into the hall and opened it.
"Hey, you ready to go?" He asked excitedly. I nodded and grabbed my bag from the banister, and we began the short journey to school. We first went to the office so that Ollie could collect his timetable. Once we arrived at the form room everyone rushed over quickly and began asking him questions. He answered as many as possible before I managed to drag him away and find two seats. Immediately, Michelle sat down on the other side of him and began flirting. I rolled my eyes and watched in amusement as Ollie desperately tried to get her hand off his knee. She slowly moved her hand higher up his thigh, whispering to him as she did. Ollie quickly turned to me and began talking about something random, causing Michelle's hand to fall. She sighed and got up to find her friends. "Is she gone?" He mouthed. I nodded, laughing, as he sighed in relief and turned back to face the front. Suddenly Amy appeared in front of us. I stood up to give her a hug. Once we broke apart she began questioning me about Ollie. Of course, she didn't know he was right here.
"Um, Amy. This is Ollie," I interrupted, hinting for her to shut up.
"Oh. Sorry. Well, I need to go and find Ron. See you later!" She winced, rushing off. I plopped back down in my seat before Jamie came over. Ugh, here it goes.
"Rosie, can I...er, speak to you quickly?" He asked nervously.
"Sure," I said, mouthing "I'll be back in a minute" at Ollie as we walked out of the form room and onto the courtyard. I sat down on a bench and Jamie sat down on the other side.
"So...I need to tell you something."
"No, I need to tell you something. I'm sorry I was so hard on you the other day, you were clearly just having a day with a friend, and I totally respect that."
"Thank you, but that's what I wanted to talk about," he grimaced.
"What?"
"My 'friend'. I mean we are just friends, but...well, it's hard for me to say..."He began, taking a deep breath, "I think I'm gay."

A/N woah who saw that coming? Sorry it's such a short chapter, the next one will be longer. I can honestly say that this was not planned, I only got this idea recently so...what should happen? Should Jamie stay with Rosie, or Tyrone? Should Rosie stay with Jamie, or Ollie? Please comment (:
