We get to see the wonderful tale of the Hamato family (with a few kids taken in), but when Dezzy, the only ordinary member, discovers the magic surrounding their home is in danger, she may be her family's last hope.
Yeah, I didn't think I'd be doing...
Everything is dark as we can faintly hear a voice speaking something in Japanese before saying this in English "open your eyes." Here we see a little girl, hair curly as she also has glasses- though she opened one eye at first. Then she looks a bit shocked/happy as she looks forward at something that we aren't able to see yet. "This is where our magic comes from?" The little girl asks as she looks up at the elderly man. He does one nod with his eyes closed saying "mhmm" then he smiles forward at the object.
Now we're able to see that it looks like a decorative candle- a glowing one at that as he continues with "this candle holds the miracle given to our family." The little girl then looks back at the man asking "how did we get a miracle?" Now they're both looking at the candle. With this the man begins to tell the story of how they got blessed with the miracle within the candle. "Long ago, when my child had just been born, your grandma and I were forced to flee our home. And though many joined us, hoping to find a new home - we could not escape the dangers and your grandma... was lost."
In a flashback we got to see how the man looked like when he was younger as he had a wife... the wife had turned herself in to let the others go free. The man dropped to his knees as he held the baby boy close to him "but in our darkest moment, we were given a miracle." The flashback is still going on as we see the candle start to get the decorations on it. "The candle became a magical flame that could never go out, and it blessed us with a refuge in which to live." The ground began to shake as the man looks at the candle and picks it up while still holding his baby.
Then he looks up as mountains begin to grow out of nowhere, he watched in a bit of astonishment as they continued to grow. "A place of wonder" "a チャーム (chame/charm)" the girl finally spoke up as the flashback is still going. "A チャーム (chame/charm).. the miracle grew" the man continues as we see the candle start glowing more. The man put it down since it freaked him out a bit, though it looks like flooring/tiles were appearing on the ground. It kept going around as it grew up into a house, so the man walked out what looked like the front door as he has a soft smile.
"And our house, our 家 (ie/house) itself came alive to shelter us" the man says as we see some tiles move around before a window door moved back and forth. The man waved a bit as he still held his son "when my son came of age, the miracle blessed him with a magic gift to help us. When his children came of age-" "they got magic too!" The girl says happily at this part of the story. The man chuckled as he says "that's right - and together our family's gifts have made our new home a paradise." Now we're back with the man holding the candle and the girl as she just looks at the flame of it.
The man now gets to the point of why he started to tell the story "and now since you are a part of this 家族 (kazoku/family) tonight, this candle will give you your gift, hana. Strengthen our community, strengthen our home, make your family proud" he says as he adjusts her glasses. Then he moved some of the hair that was in her face as she's just smiling really big "make my family proud." Right after she said that fireworks start to go off which got the two to look out the window, then the house starts to get a clock in the room. "Yes yes, 家 (ie/house), we're going" the man says a bit amused before the girl gets off her bed.
The house then got the girls shoes for her making her giggle a bit before jumping right into them, then she giggles more before pulling the elder to his feet. She held the man's hand as she asks "what do you think my gift will be?" The man just smiles down at her. "You are a wonder, Dezzy Hamato - whatever gift awaits... will be just as special as you are." We now get to see the girl (Dezzy) in a more of a white dress with a bit of gold on it, she also has a bow tied in her hair. She went through a bit of a walk as the people of the town were standing on the sidelines.
She's now at a door with the man standing right by her side with the candle in hand, so with that Dezzy reached up for the doorknob. A glow interrupted what was about to come up next as we're now at a different point in time... again. It's sunny outside as we look at this little shelf on the wall with glasses sitting on it (similar to Dezzy's). The shelf tilts down to the side as we now see someone catch the glasses and put them on. She started to get dressed in her regular outfit, a short jean skirt with designs on it from shows she's into.

(A/n, Dezzy's a Bakugou fan - she said this is what is basically mainly on her bag and skirt, well HIM not this pic, this is just me showing what/who he is for people who don't know)
Some of them just being anime that she's watched (and loved), while her shirt is just tie-dye shirt with her name on it in gold cursive writing. The name just saying Dezzy as she digs through her closet for one specific bag in general. It matches her skirt in a way, both having an angry looking blonde on it as she smiles. She was about to grab the doorknob to go outside, but noticed a stray piece of thread that was sitting on her. We're now seeing her face as she's smiling saying "make your family proud" then she starts to run down some stairs.
