WHILE WE MOVE IN DIM LIGHT

Muses live in my ear like a fairytale. I hope I can keep reaching it in my dreams.

I can hear the music- touch the notes that make your body move with mine.

The wine tastes like class and the cologne hides the glorious sweat.

You wipe away my tears and we dance upon the impending void of opulence and grief.

Can you see the burlesque lights glow in my brain?

Can you hear the cabaret's refrain?

He watches my limbs sway and swoop,

While he'll clap and woop;

All while we move in dim light.
