The daylight seeps into my peripheral,
Last night's laughs are still in my mind.
Although playful,
It proved me to be outrageously kind.
I learned many new things as I told plenty of stories of the old.
I found myself a life-long friend.
Funny as it is, our paths crossed once more and we both found a hand to lend.
So mote it be.
