A month after last chapter...

Lillie's POV
"Lillieeeeeeeee!!!" "What's up?" "What are the chances of your brother letting me take a week off?" "Uhm, I guess that depends on why you want a week off." "Welllll check this out!" He shoves a webpage about a literature fair in the Kanto region. "Scroll down, scroll down." I scroll down. "You got nominated for best poetry writer in the Kanto region?!" "Yup! I also got invited to one of the biggest events for writers which is taking place in Kalos two days after the other!" "That's great!" "I know! But I'm not sure if he'd give me permission since he's my boss and a-" "Permission for what?" He flinches and turns around. "Uhm, hi, boss." "Hi, brother. Uhm well the thing is (Y/N) here wanted to ask if he could you know take a week off t-" "For what?" He cut me off! "To assist some literature events that'll be happening in two weeks." I chuckle nervously.

(Y/N)'s POV
"Where?" "That's none of your business." "Lillie!" I feel him take my phone from my hand. "Kanto." "Y-yeah." "Well that's convenient." "Hm?" I see a small smile form on his lips. "I have to go to Kanto around those dates to pick up some things from professor Oak's lab." "Well that's just great! You two can go together, and he can go with you to your literature event thingy, right, brother?" "Well if he's okay with that I don't mind accompanying him." "He's okay with it, right? Right." I didn't even get to answer... "Now that we've got all that cleared up, you guys can plan your little trip and I'll be leaving! Thank me later!" I feel her shove me to Gladion's chest and hear her walk away. "We were supposed to go for ice cream...." I hear Gladion's phone ding and see him take it out. I try to regain my posture only to get pushed into his chest again, only this time he fell onto his back. "Lillie!" "I said what I said! You better follow my orders or you'll get it when you get back!" I try to get up as she leaves only to fall back onto Gladion. "Did you tie my shoelaces?! Argh that woman!" I untie my shoelaces and finally notice the awkward position we were in. I quickly stand up and help him up. "So sorry about that, boss. I didn't think she'd do that." "That's alright. She always wanted us to you know, get back together. I guessed something like this might happen at some point."
